Birth Of The Diviner

Clovis was reincarnated into another world, a world filled with technology, swords, and magic. Guns had become essentially negligible as humans had evolved, to a point where they could reflect normal bullets with a passive magic shield. Watch Clovis as he takes on this world, being the anomaly that he is, remembering his past life before this world, creating his own fate, and setting it in stone against all odds. He is a born diviner, and the one and only first in the history of existence, but he slowly comes to the reality that diviners are not born... They are FORGED. I am also not a professional writer, so please do not judge. That being said, I do appreciate constructive criticism and plot Ideas. The start will be a bit rough and maybe quick-paced, but it will come together as the story goes along.

The Ruins <Part 2>

With Naet's comet-like speed, we dashed through the wind at a pace where any normal person might have had their body slammed to paste by just the air pressure alone. But then again I was not exactly a normal person, so the wind pressure was negligible... no it felt more like a nice breeze.

The scenes changed multiple times until it was in range, I could now see a long fissure that split space from the ground upwards for a couple of dozen meters into the sky.

As we got closer to it, I saw the number of people present in the area gradually increased, until I saw a few people who seemed to be guarding the gate.

"We're here Clovis!" Naet whispered to me through a mind link.

Currently, I was donned in a white cloak with blood-red lines that seemed to be flowing, a gold mast that looked like it was triangular pieces of a puzzle. My swords on the other hand were in my personal space pocket, as I was unable to use them unless the situation got dangerously risky.

One thing to understand about "Jinsei" and "shi" was that they were not only swords but instead, they were extra eyes, hands, legs, mouths, or whatever you choose to mention, as they greatly improved combat efficiency and prowess by 150% of my normal prowess when both are used simultaneously!

Individually on the other hand they gave me about a 100% boost in combat prowess. We slowly came to a halt as I could now feel several eyes staring at us, almost piercing the skin with how intense and inquisitive their gazes were.

Several people present were within my age group but out of the herd, only a handful or two actually had skill from what I had deciphered upon arriving! I could feel frustration from the older individuals who were most likely guardians or parents of the teenagers present.

I could already tell why they were frustrated, It was simply because they had tried to figure out my strength but the cloak blocked any sort of appraisal magus art, making it futile to even try! The other feeling we're jealousy and outright hatred!

This confused me a little as I knew not as to why someone would hate a person, upon the first appearance... keep in mind, "hate" is a strong word but that was what I felt. Jealousy I could understand due to the entrance I had, and the fact that I was the awe of the moment.

Honestly, If anything they looked in my direction due to the 12-meter tall Naet and not myself, as if I were in their shoes that is why I would look over at all.

I hopped of Naet's back, landing on the floor without any difficulty whatsoever, but those who were attentive noticed that my footstep when I landed on the ground was almost no different than when I was still on Naet's back, meaning that there was no sign that I just fell from that height, and was even on the ground.

Whishmae on the other had whispered something to me that caused me to chuckle slightly. "Stop being such a showoff, they have had their fill no?!"

"hahaha... I just had to make a somewhat acceptable entrance." I said refuting her while also playing it off lightly.

The onlookers on the other hand were puzzled as to why I suddenly stopped moving, as some finally began talking.

"Is there another group or family that is coming here today?" Said one male teenager present asking his peers.

"None that we were informed of... or did I just not hear of it?" Said another male in confusion.

"Everyone who is part of a group or a high-class family was accounted for, so this must be a commoner!" A girl who looked rather pompous spoke out with disdain.

"Oh... so just a commoner, then what is this person doing here?!" A male spoke up with pride-filled in his voice, and disdain in his tone as well!

I of course heard the muttering and slandering, and could not help but feel slightly irritated. My voice filtered as I spoke out...

"Such disgust and hatred for what exactly? You truly believe you are the center of existence, don't you?! Please keep your thoughts and words of disdain to yourself, it makes me sick!"

"We have truly been sheltered from the ugly sides of humanity and peoples pride!"

Whishmaes voice made its way into my mind once more, and I could help but agree wholeheartedly with her statement. She was in the form of a snow-white owl at the moment, as she made a foothold on my shoulders.

Several faces were red with anger, many with the thought of why exactly a "commoner" was talking back to their "oh so mighty" selves, only for this person to speak up again.

"Ahh... as for why I am here it is to enter the ruin, I see no other event of interest present here, do you?"

Two guards walked up to me as they reached out their hands to grab my shoulders.

"This ruin is not open for commoners, so please make your exit before things get rough."

I tilted my head as I looked at their palms that were stretched out, they froze in place as I used a slight amount of aura to cool their advance before releasing them. Naet on the other had got tired of all this drama and the entire farce and spoke up.

"The world has truly fallen so far in a few thousand years huh... I do not seem to remember when names were labeled onto ruins, so do yourself a favor and move aside or I'll make you move!"

As Naet finished this sentence, she let her aura free causing all those weaker to buckle their knees and clench their teeth in pain and fear.

"Even if you say that this low-level ruin is only for those who are teenagers!"

He said this probably referring to my height, as I had a large frame that seemed to tower over several... if not all people present here. But I had to applaud him, as he was still able to refute Naet even after he just saw the clear difference in power.

"I swear on my life that this young man is 15 years of age!" Naet said, but the guards still looked hesitant as one of them refuted!

"I'm sorry but that is not enough, we have to physically see that he is as you say."

The fear in his voice was very apparent and strong but he stood his ground firmly, much to my surprise.

"And how exactly are you meant to do that?"

I asked as I stared inquisitively at the guard. He could not see my eyes, but he could definitely feel my gaze.
