Chapter 15 Things Gets Hectic

"I'm no longer interested in your submission," Shung Yun said as he battle-axe finally fell.

"Have mercy, Oh King!!" the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer shouted as fear clouded its eyes.

"You look scared," Shung Yun said softly as he rubbed his left palm on the fur of the jade horn deer's head, "I won't hurt one of mine. So, you shouldn't be scared."

Seeing one edge of the axe that was about to take its life buried deep in the ground beside it, the jade horn deer felt its limbs go weak.

Witnessing an unreasonable feat happening in front of them, the elite soldiers of Byui village went speechless from shock and confusion storming through their minds.

"He..he's petting the jade horn deer," Shung Wen couldn't get himself as he stared incredulously at Shung Yun.

"This has never happened before since the beginning of the village. No human has ever been able to control a beast even since the beginning of my Byui clan," Byui Tang couldn't bring himself to accept what was happening in front of him, "h..he must have a secret. That's right. His strength is unreasonable for his rank, and he can control beasts from the beast race. They're all secrets that can give the clan the power to step into a town and become a leading force in it."

Having blood erupt from the deep cut on his right shoulder, Shung Yun took his eyes away from the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer before looking at the culprit that tried to diagonally hack off his body.

"That hurts you know," he said as he thrust his left hand at the neck of his attacker.

Quickly pushing herself backward, Nue Xiu evaded Shung Yun's hand with an ugly expression on her face.

Slowing staring down at her stomach with shock painted across her eyes, disbelief clouded her face as she saw the jade horn of the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer pierced into her stomach.

"Roar!!" the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer roared as it raised Nue Xiu up with its jade horn.

"You shouldn't shout so loud," Shung Yun looked uncomfortable as he said to the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer.

"Forgive me, my king," the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer said as it bent its front limbs, moving Nue Xiu downward in the process.

Coming in front of Nue Xiu, Shung Yun raised her head upward from her chin.

"I should hav..e gone for yo..ur neck," blood slid down the sides of Nue Xiu's lips as she spoke to Shung Yun.

"You really should have," Shung Yun said as he held the back of Nue Xiu's head with his left hand before forcefully twisting and pulling her head upward, taking off her head from her neck.

"Nue Xiu!!" the other elite soldiers of Nue clan shouted with their eyes wide open.

"What brutality," Taichu Gui felt his stomach rumbling as he stared at the atrocity made by Shung Yun.

"Die you beast!!" one of the Nue clan's elite soldier shouted as she dashed towards Shung Yun.

"Stand down!"

Byui Tang's hammer landed on the ground together with the last word that came out of his mouth, stopping the reckless charge of the upper-stage female youth that came together with Nue Xiu.

"What Nue Xiu did is punishable by death by the military law," he said to the upper-stage Nue clan's elite female youth.

"A law that should be carried out by our Cloudstep commander," the upper-stage female youth said, "and not a common soldier."

"I can't believe your Nue clan will stoop this low, Nue Chan," Shung Xhao said as he glared at the upper-stage female youth, "calling self-defense murder, how silly."

"Free your horn from her body," Shung Yun said to the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer, ignoring the verbal battle caused by his action.

Adhering to Shung Yun's request, the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer flung Nue Xiu's headless corpse away.

"Here you go," Shung Yun said as he forced in the head of Nue Xiu on one of the horns of the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer.

"You look better up there. You might just get a chance to meet new friends if things get hectic," he said as he smiled at the ever-engraved disbelief expression on Nue Xiu's head.

"BASTARD!!" Nue Chan was finally ticked off by such blatant disrespect from Shung Yun.

Dashing towards him with her fastest speed, she unsheathed her sword from the sword-sheath on the left side of her waist as her energy Qi covered the blade of the sword.

Not leaving all the trouble for Nuo Chan, the only male elite soldier in the group of the Nuo clan dashed after Nuo Chan with a Qi covered saber in his hands.

Dazed from Shung Yun's deed, Byui Tang couldn't react when the surviving Nuo clan's elite soldiers dashed towards Shung Yun.

"Stop them from reaching Shung Yun!" he dashed after them as he also obeyed his order.

"Sigh! Seems like you won't be having new friends," Shung Yun sighed as he saw how close Byui Tang and Shung Wen were to stopping Nue Chan and her clan brother.

"Cloudstep, Six Pace Of Death!" Nue Chan revealed a trump card at the point of being caught by Byui Tang, evading his capture and dashing faster towards her worst enemy.

"Hahaha! Looks like nature has you at heart," Shung Yun laughed as he looked back at the head pinned on the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer's horn.

Taking a few steps backwards, he placed his left hand on the back of the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer before leaping into its back.

"Go," hitting the stomach of the jade horn deer with his legs, he swapped his battle-axe to his left hand as the jade horn deer stormed towards the approaching Nue Chan.

"She's dead," Shung Xhao muttered as he watched Nue Chan and Shung Yun getting closer to each other, "facing Shung Yun alone already made that a guarantee. But facing Shung Yun and a full-rank middle-step beast, there's no hope of survival even if mother nature decides to bless you."

Left with five[5] fts before clashing with Shung Yun and the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer, Nue Chan astounded the elite soldiers present once again.

"Cloudstep, Five Pace Of Death!" moving faster than before, she closed the distance between herself and her opponent within a shorter period of time.

"Die you beast!" she shouted as her sword slashed furiously towards the neck of Shung Yun.

"I'm not fighting alone, dear," Shung Yun said as the full-rank middle-stage jade horn deer lifted its two[2] fronts limbs upward, moving him away from the sword attack and also deflecting the sword strike upwards with its jade horn.

Grabbing his opportunity, he moved his body to fall to the left side of the jade horn deer before swinging his axe upward at Nue Chan's chin.

Prrchh!!

Taken by surprise by the abrupt action of the jade horn deer which led to her attack failing, Nue Chan couldn't respond as Shung Yun's axe tore through her chin before busting out of the top of her head.

Landing on the ground as he fell off the back of the jade horn deer, Shung Yun clicked his tongue at the pain spreading across his right shoulder.

"I guess my armor isn't hard enough to withstand the attack of a middle-stage Qi birth realm elite soldier," he said as he struggled to his feet with the aid of his left hand.

"Time to gain a new friend, headie," walking towards Nue Chan's corpse, he dragged his battle-axe behind him as it screeched across the ground.

"Shung Yun, treat her corpse rightly by refraining from decapitating her head," Byui Tang said to Shung Yun, "and also remove Nue Xiu's head from the horn of your beast. No matter what she did, she was still a soldier of the Byui village's military."

Still walking towards Nue Chan's corpse despite hearing Byui Tang's words, Shung Yun said, "they're enemies. Enemies has no right to be treated respectfully, no matter who they were before I killed them."

Raising his battle-axe with his left hand, he hacked down forcefully on Nue Chan's neck.
