"Byui Tang, the commander of our Warhead section was the one who personally selected the participants of this mission. I'm sure he must have his reasons for choosing the body tempering realm cultivator," Shung Wen said as he came down from his horse.

"I hope you're right. Because the village chief won't be happy if the mission goes wrong. And your Shung Clan might not like how he will react if it really goes wrong," Byui Tang said with a tone of a superior.

The duration of the mission will range from a month and a half to three[3] months, depending on how quick we are in killing the fierce beasts of the forest, as well as defending the cleared-up forest for the construction of various settlements to be established."

"Do we attack the beasts together?" Taichu Hong, an upper-stage male youth, asked Byui Tang.

"That won't be wise," Byui Tang said, "we're going to attack in groups. My Byui clan will pair up with Nue clan's elite soldiers, while your Taichu clan's elite soldiers will pair up with Shung clan's elite soldiers."

Won't we be at disadvantage with only five[5] elite soldiers going into battle with middle-stage fierce beasts?" Taichu Hong complained to Byui Tang.

"You will have to blame the Shung clan for sending a body tempering realm cultivator," Byui Tang said as he motioned for the two[2] elite soldiers under him to move into the forest.

"If anything go wrong because of your body tempering realm clansman, the elders of my clan will demand an explanation from your Shung clan commander," Taichu Hong said as he followed behind Byui Tang.

"We're receiving all this insult because of this weak piece of shit," the middle-stage male youth of the Shung clan said as he spat on the ground.

Stopping on his tracks after having a hand on his shoulder, the middle-stage male felt great danger from the hand on his left shoulder.

"Say that one more time and I might just crush your bones to pieces right now," Shung Yun said with his right hand on the middle-stage male youth's shoulder.

"Who..who is this guy?" the middle-stage male youth had that thought shaking his mind as he stood motionless with Shung Yun's hand on his shoulder.

Attracting the attention of everyone present with his statement, Shung Yun had a serious expression on his face as he kept his eyes on his superior.

"Shung Yun, let go of Shung Xhao," Shung Wen said to Shung Yun.

"Puff! I..I really didn't mean to scare him," Shung Yun laughed as he let go of Shung Xhao's shoulder, "just watching as sweat run down his face was really funny."

Taking several steps away from Shung Yun as soon as he got his freedom, Shung Xhao looked seriously at him as he remembered the feeling he gave out.

"He's a beast in a human body," he thought as he tried shaking off the fear coursing through him.

"You should be careful on how you joke with your superiors," Shung Wen said before continuing forward with Byui Tang, Taichu Hong, Nue Xiu and the other elite soldiers.

"Hahaha! I will. I will," Shung Yun laughed as he ran towards Shung Wen, crossing his right hand on his shoulder, he said, "but you know, my superiors should also be careful on how they look at me. I'm not as weak as I look."

Stopping his movement during the point Shung Yun said he wasn't as weak as he looks, Shung Wen felt no confident in preserving his life from Shung Yun at such a close distant.

"Are you Shung clan's soldiers not coming?" Byui Tang said loudly as he stepped into the covering of the forest in front of him.

"Let go, seniors," Shung Yun said as he let go of Shung Wen before walking into the covering of the forest.

"I think I finally know why commander Jian chose him to come with us," Shung Xhao said as he caught up to Shung Wen, "he's a monster whose battle strength can't be associated with his cultivation realm."

"We should treat him as an equal from now on. That will save us some trouble," Shung Wen said as he and Shung Xhao stepped into the covering of the forest.

"We should continue forward," Byui Tang said as he led the way.

"It's all yours," Byui Tang said as he motioned for Shung Wen to take over.

"Taichu Hong, hope you and your brothers give your bests," Shung Wen said as he un-hung his club from the left side of his waist.

"I should be the one saying that to you," Taichu Hong said as he drew his sword from the sheath hanging on his waist, "your body tempering realm clansman might just slow us down."

"I assure you that he won't. He's more than meets the eye," Shung Xhao said with his sword already in his hand.
