Chapter One: zero point one percent

Hey, my name is David and I am 500 years old. On your world (planet earth) I would be considered ancient and old but where I'm from, I am considered a kid. It's crazy how the magic and science of space works but it's amazing what you can find out here. In the bast of space you are able to see it all. My people posses of large feathered wings and we dedicate our lives saving the galaxy from potential threats. I've always been a big nerd when it comes to science and stuff like that but battle? I've never done battle before! I'm terrified because today is my first day of training. Training takes up 10 years of your life which isn't much considering our life span of 10,000 years, but during those years of training, if there is a threat big enough, it is a law that everyone has to join the battle. The worst of all is that the teaching sucks big time! Just you see!

"Aye numb brain!" The general shouted aloud

"Huh" I answered as I looked up.

"Stop day dreaming or you will be scrubbing toilets you fool" he shouted at me with a pissed off face and long white hairs sticking out of his nostrils and a bald shiny head. He's such a fool, always targeting me!

"Numb brain! I said pay attention! Final warning!"

"Fine!" I hesitated as I looked up front at his board. Here comes a long 10 day lesson that will teach us nothing besides how to get easily bored. It felt like hours before he finally started to teach something useful but still boring! I feel like yawning but if I do, Mr. Fool over there might get pissed off at me, well more pissed off. I don't know why he has a grudge against me, could it be that I was his worst student in elementary? Or just because he doesn't like me? Guess I'll never know.

"Stand up now!" He shouted at me.

"Huh?"

"Stand up!"

"I didn't do anything!"

"You are day dreaming you idiot!"

"How would you know I was day dreaming or not?"

"Are you being rude to me?"

"No? I'm just clarifying something you obviously don't see, get some glasses will ya?"

"Stand up! Or I will go over there!"

"Fine I'm standing!"I stood up and looked around just to see all eyes staring at me.

"What are you fools looking at?" I said.

"To the discipline room! Now!"

The discipline room? I had never gone there but I had heard terrible stories about it. Scary rumors about this place. I think I really messed up this time. Right before leaving I noticed some students sleeping. "You jerk! How come they can sleep in your class?" I angrily confronted him.

"They aren't sleeping! They are just studying with their eyes closed! Now get out of my class!" He shouted in my face as he shut the door in my face. And they expect us to love this place? This place is a huge waste of time and there is no chance in hell that I would be going to the discipline room, I am going to ditch this putrid place! So corrupt and disgusting! Especially the poor excuse of a general or professor, what ever he is! Ive snuck out of this building countless times but security had gotten more intense. If they saw a student out they were shot with a taser, not a taser like the ones on your earth, These type of tasers would be able to kill you by simply grabbing them, on your earth they can light up an entire city for 24 hours. I snuck around the corner and there they were, a bunch of guards gathered up talking. This is my chance just you wait and see how it's done. There is always a opened window but it's right above the guards so this will be difficult. Wait a minute, I saw my long time crush Quinn. She was ditching too! I could see her being extremely sneaky! That girl can literally get away with anything! Which is why many nicknamed her monkey girl, sneaky and intelligent. She quickly flew out of the windows but the alarms were activated, now I only had a few seconds to escape! I can't blame Quinn because she's too pretty but she really did mess up my plan! The guards noticed me and took out their tasers, I only have 0.1% of getting out of this. If I get tased I'm done! Me and the guards stare at each others And the idiots all activate their tasers at the same time and my lucky self jumped at the right moment avoiding being tased and the guards all fall to the ground after being electrocuted. That was a sick mission impossible but I made it possible and that's how you do the 0.1% now freedom!

"Hey!" A loud shout is heard. Oh no! It's Mr. Bald idiot and what seemed like 10 more guards! Another 0.1 percent chance of getting out through the small slowly closing window.

"Hey idiot!" A girl voice shouts at me and then giggles. I look up and it's Quinn.

"Quinn?" I ask even after seeing it was actually Quinn.

"Shut up! Are you waiting to be captured? Jump!"

Another small window opens just in time and we both jump out before it shuts close.
