Chapter 19: Sham Alraune

This is the 50th level. The space around the area was eerie. At the end of this site is an area with a solemn majestic double door about 3m in height. On the flanks of the doors were two one-eyed giant sculptures enshrined into the walls; only their upper bodies were sculpted it seemed. Of course, everyone knows that it is the famous cyclops.

Unlike everyone else who will be wary of this floor, a person like me who knows what is inside will have a different kind of expression. After all, I know that this place is the location where a certain vampire princess has been sealed for hundreds of years. Right! This is the place where the loli baba vampire princess with the name Aletia Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl(it is Yue's real name BTW) is imprisoned.

Looking at the door in front of me, I have a mixed feeling and a bit of curiosity. First of all, this door was set by Avatarl's uncle so that only a person who can reach here and able to use transmutation is the only one who can open the gate.

Although I can now get Transmutation from Hajime's blood, his arm is already consumed by the bear while taking it now will look like I attacked him so nah… ~I will skip this as it is too much of a hassle. I will just take it from other synergists out there probably.

Anyways~ I am currently curious about these two cyclops standing like a statue in front of the gate. They are set to be awakened after someone uses a transmutation skill on the gate. However, since I know they will awaken, can I attack them beforehand?

'This somehow feels like finding a bug where you fight the boss that is not able to fight you since you have not entered the boss room… Well whatever, let's just take their skills from their blood and leave them as I advance to the next floor.'

It took 10 days before I finally advanced to the level where I can see a tyrannosaurus Rex in front of me. Throughout the whole journey with my army, I have destroyed and created many soldiers and my tanks. After all, unlike Hajime who can hide and ambush the monster one by one, I need to face an equal amount of monsters with my army or even sometimes a horde of monsters. But this can not be help... After all, the sound of so many gunshots, explosions, and other battle sounds is not a joke in this enclosed labyrinth.

By the way, although I say it is an army, I actually only have 10 of each type of soldier and 3 tanks in total. This is because the time I need to create a soldier is around 5 minutes while I need around 1 hour to build a single tank. It can't be helped as I need to make them manually!

My [Seed formation] skills somehow don't allow me to create custom or artificial plants directly. So the time for construction is not the time for it to grow but for it to be assembled and manipulated into the correct shape. This is like how Hajime needs to create a Bullet one by one as He can't do mass transformation.

As I continuously improve and adjust my plant army, I just let the old ones be destroyed by making them a cannon fodder. So after all this time, I probably have grown more than ten thousand plants in total. This is why I wonder why this skill still has not evolved or even gotten any derivative skills with all my use of this skill as seen in my status below.

With all the floors cleared, I gained a lot of skills that somehow combined with each other. I am not sure how the mechanism works as this is probably due to my racial body that is obtained from evolving. These types of skills are usually obtained from many similar skills that have a connection with each other like resistance skills which combine together.

Other than these types of skills, I also got [+Plant Fusion] Which allows me to combine two or more plant abilities. [+Plant Gene Manipulation] which allows me to manipulate genes of a plant such as sharing or cut it. [+Plant Hybridization] which allows me to make my bodies turn into a part of a plant.

Other than that, I also get [+Plant Directed Mutations] which allows me to mutate a plant's abilities in the direction I want to. For example, if I mutated a plant that can shoot out blades of wind, I can get plants that shoot out spears of wind, tornadoes, or just a breeze. It is all random as shapes, power, and other attributes depend on luck. But with this new derivative skill, I can make the mutations in the directions I want to!

What makes me bewildered is the fact that [Language Comprehension] can actually evolve! This is stemming from the fact I tried to experiment with whether I can communicate with monsters or plants. This resulted in a failure! To begin with, our method of communication was wrong! They don't have language but use others such as tones, chemical or electrical signals to communicate.

Although in a way it can be considered a language, would you be able to reply or even hear a plant communicating using chemicals? This is where the new evolved skills come in as I can somehow substitute all types of communications using mana. It can transform to tones I can't sound with my mouth, transform into chemical and also electrical signals.

Finally, I also got what I considered as eye powers or abilities that are dependent on the eye organ. With my advanced understanding of magic circles, I just group these skills together in a separate column in my status plate to better read them.

Back to the tyrannosaurus in front of me. Well… Although it looks like a tyrannosaurus rex, there was a flower on its head that distinguished it. Sharps tusk thirsting for blood surged from the powerful beast, and the sunflower-like flower fluttered on top. It was a surreal experience.

"ROOOOOOOOAR!!!"

Tyrannosaurus rex gave out a roar and rushed at me. Its movement is very mechanical with no ferocity and no battle experience. Well, with the monster being controlled by a parasite, it was already amazing for it to move actually. After all, controlling hundreds of things simultaneously is not an easy feat.

The T-Rex is of course… immediately captured! Unlike Hajime who just kills and annihilates these guys, I will try to study them and save their DNA. After saving it and then I go back to Japan, I could make a real Jurassic park there. Of course, I need to show my muscles and maybe I need to build my own country and show my muscles so that other countries don't just take them to be a weapon of war…

I capture 2 of every species (male and female) with my army as I lookout for any new species and the real objective of this floor, the intelligent Plant monster. The name of this monster is Sham Alraune. It is a humanoid-shaped monster, with the ability to physically control other creatures using its unique parasitic pollen spores which it scatters around the air.

This monster is extremely cunning and protective of its lair because it would do anything needed in order to protect itself. A creature controlled by its pollen spores grows a flower on its head to signify the effect, while simultaneously losing control of its own body, though they are conscious of its uncontrolled actions, and retain all of their memories.

So in a way, its ability is body control and not mind control. However, this skill and this plant are still a very good addition to my arsenal and can be described as necessary. With this plant, I no longer need to control the whole army as I can delegate some of it to this plant.

After searching for a while and arriving at the center of the room, it finally appeared!. From all directions, an innumerable amount of green ping pong balls flew in.

I immediately create an all-directional earth shield to block all the flying balls and command my army to capture and study this plant alive. The wall was strong enough to prevent the balls from piercing it as it seemed that the balls didn't have that much power.

Seeing her attacks fail and her locations being found from my detection skills, the monster appeared from a dark crack. A demon that was the mix of a woman and a plant came out. It was similar to a dryad or aruraune in RPGs. The demon appeared before me.

There is a legend that dryads bring good luck, if not hostile, and they were beautiful women. But the one in front of me is different as although it looked like a human woman, it had an ugly face. It also had countless vines waving around, and it felt creepy. Currently, her expression is angry as many of her subordinates have been either captured or annihilated.

The resistance of this plant doesn't last long as my plant army uses a lighting net. This is a weapon I designed to capture a monster that is equipped in the ranged type soldier side compartment. It is pretty much mostly effective as the monster will be zapped and stunned by electricity.

As the usual routine, I used the Devil fruit extraction method to get its abilities. I don't really get any abilities from those dinosaurs as their abilities probably already overlap with my obtained abilities. On the other hand, I got [Plant Parasitism] skill from the Alraune monster which allows me to have the same ability as her, control the body of others using my plant!

With this plant, I began to finally begin to build a plant computer. Unlike the desktop computer in the market, this computer is more like a supercomputer where its sole purpose is to help me with scientific research such as calculation and will be the home of my new Artificial Intelligent which will be created based on Treant and Alraune Plant Brains.
