Abraham Butch arched his brows, he didn't know why Lin Yu'an would be asking all these questions. It was understandable that he didn't want to get involved in his mess but still he felt there was more to Lin Yu'an's questions " He's dead, why does doctor Lin ask all these questions?" Lin Yu'an saw that he had doubts so he decided to come out openly. " The thing is I was already planning on doing a business along with doctoring, and just now you said you had a fleet right which you own i presume? "

Abraham Butch nodded " so I thought to make a business proposal to you since you go around buying and selling. And also i want the business i want to start shouldn't be focused only in here but other places too." Abraham Butch was shocked by Lin Yu'an's words " what kind of business does doctor Lin wants to start?" he asked in doubt " Alcohol!" Lin Yu'an stated making Abraham sighed " doctor Lin alcohol business is no good, and also the alcohol produced in your dynasty is far worst than the ones in other places. You should focus on what you do best lest you loose money from investing in something which might fail anytime"

Abraham Butch said and advised him whole heartedly, Lin Yu'an just scoffed and smirked. Abraham Butch was stunned by his overconfident look. " don't compare me with other's, I've been researching on medicines and alcohol for a long time. So how can the alcohol i plan to produce not sell?" Lin Yu'an informed with seriousness. " I'll bring you a sample another time and we'll talk real business after that. For now rest up and heal" Abraham Butch looked at him fascinated by his calm and overwhelming demeanor, he couldn't help but admire Lin Yu'an.

" Well I'll leave your reports with Mr. Edward as well as the medications i brought. It sure start working now so just rest up." Abraham was confused " what should?" he asked " the pills you swallowed, they cause drowsiness too so just relax and sleep." Abraham Butch was about to open his mouth when he felt it, the sleepiness and the heaviness of his eyelids which where getting hard to keep open. Lin Yu'an put the backpack over his shoulder and started to make his way out " doctor Lin" he heard Abraham Butch's low hoarse voice as he was struggling to speak.

Lin Yu'an turned half way back " thank you" he said. " i was just doing my job, and anyway I'm charging a high fee for your treatments so there's no reason to be thankful" Lin Yu'an stated as a matter of fact. He had never cared about such things like a patient thanking him for treating them, to him as long as you pay well and he chooses you as his patient then he'll give it all his best to save you. The only people he appreciates getting thanks from where the kids he considered family from the orphanage he grew up in and good children he meets when working but definitely not the spoilt brats!. " still i want to thank you for saving me" Abraham said with his voice getting lower and lower until it was heard no more, Lin Yu'an turned back around and walked out without looking back.

Edward Olive quickly walked to him when he saw him coming over " doctor Lin how is he?" he asked worriedly. " i gave him something to help with the pain so he's sleeping now, don't go in now let him rest for a couple of hours." Edward nodded in understanding after listening to him. Lin Yu'an stretched forward his hand which was holding the envelope " have this, it's a report of his health condition i made. He has already signed." Lin Yu'an said as he gave him the envelope.

Edward Olive took out a small knife from his backhip and carved away the wax on the envelope, " signed?" he asked as he took out the paper from the envelope and started to read it's content which was written in English. " yes. I should have checked on him carefully and make a full report of his health and the contract you signed first was roughly drafted, but it was an emergency then and also i didn't have my working tools with me." Lin Yu'an explained. For a doctor to treat a patient he needed the guardian's consent, but the day Abraham Butch was brought he was in a dire state so after getting Edward Olive's verbal consent he focused on saving Abraham Butch.

Edward Olive after making sure that Abraham Butch didn't sign on anything strange was relieved. "so his condition is okay now?" he asked Lin Yu'an because he didn't understand most of what was written. " Yes, the patient is stable now and there's nothing wrong with his health. After the wound heals I'll come over and remove the stitches. I have the medicines over here for dressing up his wound, painkillers and some other medicines for him. Doctor Xia saw how i redressed the wound so you can talk that with him, the dressing has to be changed regularly and his medications has to be taken regularly too."

Lin Yu'an calmly explained and he listened attentively to everything Lin Yu'an said. " doctor Lin how long will it take for the wound to heal?" " about a month from now if nothing happens he could be discharged." Edward Olive nodded and watched Lin Yu'an take out four small porcelains and two slightly bigger ones along with the bandages which to Edward Olive were strange looking cloths. Edward picked up one of the small porcelain and looked fascinated at the card which was tied around the bottleneck with a thread " Anti-inflammatory cream?" he read out loud in doubt.

" Yes, apply that on the wound to help prevent the wound from getting inflamed and causing infestation. You can see each porcelain with a card, I've written the description and how to use them in English for your understanding. I'll write it again on a paper in my native language for doctor Xia too." Lin asked for a paper and started to write as he informed Edward Olive, he passed the paper to doctor Xia whl went through. Doctor Xia was overwhelmed and kept praising Lin Yu'an in heart. " 730 taels for all the medications" Lin Yu'an said to Edward Olive bluntly showing no emotions on his face.

The translator who was listening the whole time felt heartache ' ah this doctor Lin just keeps robbing!' he thought, Lin Yu'an turned sharply over to him when he felt that he was being watched. The translator turned away and faked a cough in embarrassment seeing that he was caught staring too much. Edward Olive took out the 730 taels and gave it to Lin Yu'an without missing a weni and Lin Yu'an took it unceremoniously not caring for the gazes on him. Thinking if they knew how costly the medicines where, they would rather be crying for him! Doctor Xia moved closer to him when he saw that he was done with Edward Olive.

" Doctor Lin about the medicine you used on the man's wound and the other ones too, can you sell me some?" doctor Xia didn't ask the whereabouts of the medicines nor did he ask what they were made of, he could tell that the medicines Lin Yu'an brought were good things. So if it was okay with Lin Yu'an he was hoping he could get his hands on them. " *sigh* doctor Xia I can tell that you want the medicines but it's very hard for me to produce more. I can only make a few at a time because the ingredients for making them are very hard to find." Lin Yu'an said and took out two small porcelains one anti-inflammatory cream and the other painkillers.

He gave them to doctor Xia who looked very excited to receive them, " I'd like to mass produce them too but it going to take some time for that" he added. Lin Yu'an had thought about making Western medicines here ever since the slot for production books and recipes opened, so he had thought that since there was such a slot then as he continue to upgrade then a slot for equipments to produce and research things like penicillin and other Western medicines would be available. He just had to think about upgrading for now and wait for such slot to be opened since he could just purchase the medicines needed from the mall now, although they were very expensive.

Doctor Xia nodded, he could also tell that such good things were hard to come by so he understood Lin Yu'an's concerns. " but if doctor Xia wants to sell them in the medicine shop i could produce a few bottles like five bottles every two weeks, but i must say they're very expensive. But the peasant families definitely can't afford this now! That is until I'm able to mass produce them then I'll sell them at a price the peasant families could afford. But even so the there be some difference like the porcelain would be changed to something like a small wooden box and the contents in it would greatly be reduced"

" Of course! of course! " doctor agreed with his words because even in his medicine shop not everything could be afford by peasant families so it was a matter of course! " en, but for now if you want to introduce it to the wealthy families the anti-inflammatory cream is 85 taels and the painkillers is 60 taels. But these ones are for you to use for a few days to see their effects, you don't need to pay for them since doctor Xia and i would doing business together in the future." Doctor Xia smiled and patted him on the shoulder putting away the medicines he got for free without any shame or feeling embarrassed! Lin Yu'an bled in his heart because what he gave away were very expensive the anti-inflammatory cream cost 80 points in the mall and if it was brought to this world's money that would be 80 taels and the painkillers were 50 points which was 50 taels. So the price given for them wasn't too much in his mind, he wanted doctor Xia to introduce them in his medicine shop for him.
