What is President Shen Doing Here?

Ji Guozhi asked Jiang Hua, "Come, I'll introduce you to some important people in the city."

He took her hand and walked towards a group of businessmen. Jiang Hua let him hold her hand. She has been engaged to him for the last 3 years. She is no longer so cold to him. Maybe it's because she has accepted that one day she'll marry him and she has to live her life with him.

Jiang Hua dealt with the businessmen introduced by Ji Guozhi professionally. They all were impressed by Jiang Hua. They praised Jiang Hua in front of Jiang Bao.

One of them said, "Jiang Bao, you are really lucky to have such an outstanding granddaughter."

Jiang Bao was very happy to hear their praises.

Everyone was enjoying the party. Ji Guozhi looked towards the dance floor. He also wanted to dance with Jiang Hua. But he was hesitant to ask her. Finally, gathering the courage he asked, "Xiao Hua, would you like to dance with me?"

He had already forwarded his hand towards Jiang Hua.

But suddenly, there was noise in the hall. Many people were looking towards the entrance. Ji Guozhi also looked towards the entrance to see what had happened.

He was surprised with what he saw.

A tall and handsome man was coming, another man was accompanying him. His eyes were cold and he exuded a domineering aura.

The problem was that he was not just another random man. But he was the President of Shen Group of Companies in the Capital City. Shen Group of Companies was the biggest company in China and was included in the Forbes List of Top 10 companies in the world.

And this man was the richest man in Asia.

But what was he doing at the party arranged by Jiang Group? Jiang Group may be the number 1 company in Z City but it was nothing compared to the Shen Group which was a multinational company.

The people who knew this man were surprised by his presence in this party. And those who didn't know him were sure that he was someone who was beyond their reach.

Jiang Bao was equally surprised to see this outstanding man. Jiang Group didn't invite him, because he lived in Capital City and never visited Z City. Shen Group has no branch in Z City. It's headquarter is based in Capital City.

Jiang Hua didn't know about this man, so she frowned at the way people were staring at him.

She thought, 'What happened to everyone?'

Ji Guozhi asked her, "Lets go and meet him."

Jiang Hua, "Who is he? And why is everyone behaving like that?"

Ji Guozhi was surprised by her answer, "You don't know him?"

Jiang Hua, "No."

Ji Guozhi told her, "He is the President of Shen Group of Capital City."

Jiang Hua, "Shen Group which is the biggest company of China?"

Ji Guozhi patted her head and laughed, "Thank God, at least you know this."

Jiang Hua replied, "Who wouldn't know about the Shen Group. But I have never heard any news about this man."

"This is because President Shen Ling is a very private man. He doesn't allow the media to make any news about him."

On the other side, Shen Ling was observing her since the time he entered the hall.

When he saw how Ji Guozhi was holding her hand and the way they were talking, his eyes grew cold. The joy he felt when he saw her was replaced with pain.

Flashback, Shen Ling was near Z City due to some work. He was dealing with some business man, when his assistant Gu Tianwang came and gave his phone to him.

Initially Shen Ling was annoyed by the way his assistant disturbed him. But then he saw the news on the phone. "Jiang Group has arranged a party-Jiang Hua officially becomes the President of Jiang Group of Companies."

Along with this news, a photo of Jiang Hua was attached. She was wearing a beautiful red dress.
