Drunken Night

It was already 2 A.M and the both of them were just getting set to start the second round of their discussions. The both of them were too drunk to move from where they were seated. Ella could not do this on a week day and she knew that much. It was a Friday and instead of doing what she would usually do on a Friday which was sleep in till she could not anymore. This was a nice change of pace.

"Let's order pizza." Alex said all of a sudden as the both of them, were in between drunken conversations.

"What?" Ella exclaimed. "It's way past midnight. Where do you plan to get it from?" She asked her as she too down a sip of her beer.

"I don't know. But there has to be somewhere," she told Ella. "Besides, I'm starving."

Ella knew that she had stalled long enough but she did not know if she was ready to have that conversation with her yet.
