CHAPTER 87

　　Xavier froze still as I pressed my lips against him. He was surprised I gathered because for a few seconds, he remained immobile. I opened my eyes which had been closed to see him slowly close his and move his mouth on mine languidly.

　　Yes, please.

　　We kissed as if we had all the time in the world. As if we were drifting, just us in the entire cosmos, alone and together. His tongue flicked against my lips, teasing me until I caved in with a moan and parted my lips.

　　"Ugh!" I heard Celine mutter and placing a hand on his chest, I pushed away from Xavier gently to give her a piece of my mind. But Xavier would have none of that. His hands cradled my neck and once again our tongues entangled and clashed.

　　The hands I placed on his chest, clutched at his suit harder. I needed him. I needed him to be impossibly close. I wanted all the barriers gone, everything and everyone that told me we couldn't be together.
