During lunch Richard came to the cafeteria to meet Lillian. At that time Naomi walked into the cafeteria. She had an elegant looking posture, her confident look coupled with her originally other worldly face made her look as if a divine being had descended to the mortal world. Even Richard was feeling difficult to move his eyes off Naomi. Just then someone commented "I wonder what ex-vice president Richard Davidson saw in Lillian that he dumped Naomi for her" another commented "True even I don't understand why. Only a fool would choose a White Lotus over her" When Richard heard them call him Ex-vice president he felt his heart prick. While Lillian secretly clenched her fists digging her nails in her palm while trying to hold back her anger. She simply felt like rushing forward and rip Naomi's face
Naomi walked past Lillian and Richard as if she didn't even notice that they were standing there and went straight to sit with Gina. Richard felt a stab in his chest. He couldn't believe that the little girl who kept following him with admiration in her eyes for the last three years no longer cared for him. She didn't even bother to look at him. He felt that Naomi had changed a lot and she looked a lot more attractive. For a minute Richard regretted his decision of breaking off his engagement with her. Lillian saw the complicated look on Richard's face and she linked her arm with his and squeezed herself close to him while calling out in a weak tone.
Richard snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Lillian. He pushed those thoughts at the back of his mind and walked out of the cafeteria while holding Lillian in an embrace. Lillian felt anger rise to her chest, originally she felt that she would easily be able to look down on Naomi as she was now the only daughter of the Smith family while Naomi was just an adopted daughter. She hated that people still liked Naomi more than her even though she is a nobody.
After lunch Naomi went back to her class and continued with her usual studies. Since she had already completed the syllabus for the current year, she was now reading books for next year. Naomi remembered that tomorrow was the day when one of the three companies' stock prices would be at the peak and hence she would be withdrawing her money from that company tomorrow.
She wanted to make a few more Jewellry designs and submit them online. She wanted her Pen name to become famous. That was something she couldn't achieve in her previous life. She had died just before achieving her goal. She was making designs with the name "Bella".
After school Naomi went back to the Smith villa. As soon as she entered she could hear Lillian crying and complaining about her. She felt a headache listening to her never ending tantrums. When Winona saw Naomi she flared up in anger and started yelling at her "You unfilial girl, how can you humiliate your sister? I have truly raised an ingrate" Naomi ignored Winona and went straight up to her room. When Winona saw Naomi ignore her, her anger erupted and she started cursing her on top of her voice. Naomi felt her voice was too ear piercing, so she decided to enter the system space so that she would not be able to hear her screaming.
Naomi got fresh and changed into comfortable clothes. Then she entered the system space and sat at her desk and started thinking about jewelry designs. Finally she decided to draw all the designs that she had made in her last life. She completed drawing a total of five designs and stretched her arms as she felt her arms getting sore. She then submitted all her design drafts and then left the system space. She checked the time and saw that it was already 7pm. She walked to the dining room for dinner. The atmosphere at the dining table was too quiet, as James had returned home Winona dared not say anything, she just occasionally glared at Naomi. Naomi ignored her and continued her dinner.
James felt that Naomi is very beautiful and that he could use her looks to gain more benefits. He wanted to marry her off to a rich boss in the future, but now that she was already getting hard to control he wanted to push her to some perverted boss from one of his business connections. He decided to make her meet that boss in a month from now on Lillian's birthday. Naomi finished her dinner and went back to her room, then she sat at her desk to complete her homework. After completing her homework she had her bath and was getting ready for bed, when the system notified her "Host the installation of expert level hacking skills is completed. Congratulations, since you finished one skill till the expert level the system space will be upgraded. And there will be new features. The upgrade will take 48 hours and till then you will not be able to use the system space." Naomi thought for some time and then hummed an ok response. She could use this time to make a few jewelry designs in her room as well as exercising to increase her strength. Once the system started upgrading Naomi went to sleep.
