She stood outside trying to hold the tears about to fall off her eyes she never believed that the day would come when she'd have to threaten her father just to get money from him, the alert interrupted her thoughts, and she opened her cellphone to see the credit alert from her father.
" So he's afraid of threats" she gave a weak smile. She turned to go pay when she saw the last person she'd wanted to see now. He stood 2 meters away with his arms folded.
"What is he doing here?" She thought.
" I suppose you've gotten what you wanted? He said in s mockery.
" What are you talking about? She asked using her palm to shield herself from the sun.
" You amaze me every day, Nadia Barnes. From taking over your sister's place to threatening your father. Is that how low you'd go for money? He asked in disdain.
