Chapter 11: LIFE IS SO UNFAIR
" YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS " he said furiously.
He said as he stormed out of the bar and at that moment I couldn't astertain what was going on, I didn't know if it was Nicole or the interview letter I received or when I bumped into the handsome man or when I threw up on the handsome man or when he told me I would pay dearly for what I did to him.
" Oh my gosh,Life is so unfair" I whispered to myself as I sat on the tiled floor near the counter
I have always wanted this job buh now I got the interview I don't know why I was scared and feeling so unwell.
" Oh, Christina " I said as I simultaneously used my both hands to hit my head over and over again.
" I totally forgot this was the effect of the drink I had moments ago " I said to myself as I managed to get up and staggered out of the bar as I thought about Nicole, I just couldn't leave her here and moreover she brought me here, it would be so rude to go without her.
After arguing with my self about my thoughts I finally came to a conclusion that she would be fine where ever she was at the moment.
All I wanted right now was to go home, take a shower and prepare for my interview the next day. I brought out my phone and placed an order for the next Uber to pick me u
I was so tired.

I stared at her as she ran out of the bar, I guess she was talking to a young lady about something, she was also drunk from my point of view, I could read her mouth movement, she said something and ran out of the bar with her hands on her mouth, I assumed she went to throw up so I quietly followed her.
I don't know why I had the guts to do so but my mind was pushing me to her, not after I had been stalking her since the last week.
" Hey bitch, can't you see you pushed me " a guy shouted at her but she didn't respond to him.
" Richard, we don't need to talk to much, let's teach her a lesson " The huge guy said as he turned her around so she could face him then he pushed her down.
I just had to silently watch what was going on but the moment that nerd pushed her down, I felt a rage boiling inside of me and the urge to get down there and mercilessly deal with those damn guys.
I could see her on her knees as she faced the ground, I then got up to go down there were this I'll treatment was taking place then what I saw left me blindfolded for some minutes.
The young lady who appeared to be weak in my perspective was not actually weak, I would say she was a lion in the body of a lioness.
I saw how she threw those punches on the guy who pushed her and when the other guy came to intervene she landed him a hot resounding slap on his cheek not only that she threw him some punches and kicks as well as blood started gushing out of the guy's mouth.
At that moment I got terribly scared of her as I tried my best to sermoned courage to go help her out.
" Hey, are you okay?? " I asked her as I stretched my hand towards her
She smiled and said.
" Oh Mr Handsome, do you want me to show you how frustrated I am?? "
I didn't think I went through her statement but I knew I gave her a straight answer.
" Sure you can tell me anything " I answered her
" Okay, but don't blame me afterwards " she said as she threw several punches and slaps on my face.
I was totally red and captivated, I tried to figure out why she did that, until she said.
" Wow, that feels so good, I actually didn't get enough when I hit those guys earlier " she said with a blank face and then she fainted, I was so lucky I got hold of her before she reached the floor if not she would have hit her head on the floor and that would be another issue since she was drunk.
I carefully carried her and put her in my car as I stared at her angelic face as her hair covered parts of her face.
I smiled as I carefully put her in order then zoomed off.

I stretched out my hands toward the alarm and off it as I lied down back to continue my sleep.
Suddenly yesterday incident came flashing back and in my memory starting from when I and Nicole went to the bar till when I threw up on the handsome man.
And suddenly I set up the alarm because I had an interview this morning.
I spranged up from the bed and looked at the alarm.... Fuck it was already 6:15 am and I was still in bed.
I was still feeling dizzy as a result of the hangover, I sat down on the couch as I turned on the TV, I hoped my hang over calmed down before I get to the interview, I still had about a hour or so.
I turned on the new and a particular headline got my attention and I increased the volume to hear it clearer.

Seamus, which owns some of the biggest ad agencies in the world, including BBDO and DDB, said that organic revenue -- which strips out the impact of acquisitions, divestitures, and currency exchange -- was up 9.5% in the quarter to $3.86 billion, ahead of expectations at $3.68 billion. Revenue based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) rose 2.6%, reflecting the sale of ICON International in January.
Organic revenue increased in all seven of its business segments, including a 57% jump in experiential marketing due to the return of in-person events, and it was up in every region, showing the company's broad-based recovery from the pandemic.
Shares of Seamus Group of Companies. OMC slid 0.24% to $67.31 Tuesday, on what proved to be an all-around rough trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index SPX falling 1.90% to 4,567.00 and Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA falling 1.86% to 34,483.72. This was the stock's fourth consecutive day of losses. Seamus Group of Companies. closed $19.07 short of its 52-week high ($86.38), which the company achieved on January 30th.
Despite its losses, the stock outperformed some of its competitors Tuesday, as Publicis Groupe S.A. ADR PUBGY fell 1.07% to $16.19 and Interpublic Group of Cos. IPG fell 1.66% to $33.19. Trading volume (5.2 M) eclipsed its 50-day average volume of 1.7 M.
Further down the income statement, operating margin was down slightly from 16.4% to 16.1%, and earnings per share ticked up from $1.84 to $1.95, outpacing the consensus at $1.73.

I heard enough as I switched off the TV as I moved to my wardrobe, I had not brought out anything to wear for the interview I wondered why I was so sluggish today of all days, like this was I had always wanted, to get this job but I was so tired and didn't want to go.
" God please slap off this thought from my head " I prayed to God as I clapsed my hands together in the mode of prayer like how little children did.
I suddenly felt some strength as I checked the clock and it was already 7:20 am.
I brought out a simple butterfly fitted gown and a six inches heel.... I was so good at wearing it.
I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower I had to be there before 8:00 am, I didn't want to go late on the day of the interview, if that ever happened it would surely be a Bad Omen like Nicole always told me.
I came out of the shower and quickly put on some body moisturizer to make me look fresh and sure I also put on some roll-on to make me smell fresh, then I put on my dress.
" Wow.... " I said to myself as I looked at my self in the mirror hanging on the wall in my room, I stared at my magnificent curves, the dress really helped a lot and it was so simple, it stopped above my knees and a V line neck shape which exposed a little part of my chest.

It was already 7:39 am and I had to get going, so I picked up my handbag and my credentials and other informations I thought would be required.
I didn't want to miss this opportunity... Not now, Not ever and with this I had to get going, I locked my apartment and threw the keys into my bag and stopped an Uber I saw dropping a lady in the next compound off.
I hopped into the Uber as I told the driver the location where I was going to and he sped of to Seamus Group of Companies.
I was so nervous and excited at the same time. In less than fifteen minutes we were already there and I paid the driver as I carefully tied my hair into a neat ponytail.
I stared at the huge and attractive building, it had lots of storey buildings.... No this was a skyscraper.
Why in heaven's name would anyone use a skyscraper for a company, with this I wondered if I would get a job here .
" Would my qualifications get me this job??? " I asked my as I was literally loosing my mind but I didn't want to give up, I had come this far to feel regected, I have to go inside and give it my best.
" I would do anything to get this job today, and nothing is going to stop me from getting this job .... Nothing at all " I said these words of encouragement to myself as I gracefully walked into the building even when I had the feeling that I was fee minutes late but I didn't mind and I didn't care, all I wanted at that moment was for me to go in there and get the job.

I woke up feeling pains all over my body and I notice the bed I was lying on was so hard, it was like an auto-pedic bed and the bed I had in my house was a water bed.
I tried to remember if I had plans to change my bed, but I couldn't come to the conclusion of me ever doing that.
I tried to turn then suddenly when I inhaled a strong manly cologne and i spranged up from the bed when I saw a young man lying on the bed with me facing the ceiling, peacefully sleeping and I shouted.
