ARRANGE MARRIAGE WITH ELIAS WATSON...

"Let me call Elias and see if he is available tomorrow so we can meet and talk about this," Esmeralda said after finally making up her mind.

Esmeralda kept moving up and down in her room contemplating whether to call Elias or not.

"How about I just text him, what if I call and he is busy..." Esmeralda finally decides to text Elias instead of calling him.

Biting down on her lower lip out of nervousness while shaking the phone that is in her hand, Esmeralda begins texting Elias.

(Hi, Elias, I want us to talk about something, are you free tomorrow?)

Esmeralda deleted what she had written and started talking to herself "No! No! No! I can't say that, because am sure his dad must have already talked to him about the arrangement they decided on with Dad."

Biting down on her lower lip again. "How about I say this then."

Esmeralda: hi, Elias.

Elias: hello Esmeralda.

"What! Oh no, Elias is online right now, my goodness what did I say I was going to say to him again?..." Esmeralda said.

Just then she received a new message from Elias.

Elias: Can we meet tomorrow Esmeralda? Because we need to talk."

"What, oh thank you, god! Elias just saved me from saying anything and since he said we need to talk, it means his father must have already talked to him about the arranged marriage both he and dad are hoping to happen between us." Esmeralda utters to herself after reading Elias's message.

Esmeralda: Okay.

She replied to him.

Just after she taps the send button Esmeralda realizes that she didn't even ask Elias about where they are going to meet.

Elias: So where should we meet tomorrow then?

She received a message from Elias asking her where they should meet and talk tomorrow just like she wanted to ask him.

Esmeralda: hmm! How about White Cuisine?

She chooses White Cuisine because it's both her and Linda's favorite restaurant.

Elias: Okay, at Around 7 to 8 pm, what do you think?

He texted and asked.

Esmeralda: hmm! That sounds good, see you tomorrow then.

She replied to him.

Elias: Okay! Bye! Take care.

Elias sends.

Esmeralda – Bye! And take care too.

And it's finally decided, that she will meet Elias tomorrow at White Cuisine. to talk about the arrangement their parents are planning on and to hear what he thinks about it.

"Oh! My! Speaking of White Cuisine, Linda oh! No, I haven't even talked to bestie all day long at all." Esmeralda said after realizing she hadn't spoken to Linda today yet.

"And bestie hasn't called me either which means she must be partying somewhere right now. Ah! She will never change, Party after party like she will always say whenever you ask her about her whereabouts during weekends or nighttime she will either be in a club partying or a place, a party is happening."

She said while shaking her head when she remembered why Linda hadn't called her all day either.

Linda is her friend and adopted sister. and not an ordinary friend but her very best friend because they had known each other since childhood and grown up together too, Linda's father was Esmeralda's dad's old driver when they were around twelve years old both her dad and Linda's father got into a real and very bad car accident, Esmeralda's Dad made it out alive but Linda's father didn't make it because of how he tried his best to save Esmeralda's dad.

When Linda's father passed away, Esmeralda's dad adopted and took Linda in and raised her like his very own daughter just like Esmeralda. he never showed any difference between the two of them and always made sure to remind them all the time that they both are equal to him. and no one is better than the other.

He took care of everything she would ever need. Starting from her education and everything else just like her aunt's son Petro, if not because of the different surnames they have, you will think they are biological sisters if you see them together.

They grow up together but they call each other bestie and sometimes Sister too. Linda is also calling Esmeralda's father, Dad too. The reason why Linda isn't staying with them in Fernandez Manor right now anymore is that when they were 22 years old and both the three of them started working in the E & F enterprise, they both were given the freedom to live outside the Fernandez Manor but of course, most also come and visit all the time.

But one thing Esmeralda knows is Linda chooses to live outside the Fernandez Manor with the excuse of wanting to explore different areas because of this party after-party madness of hers since if she is here in the Fernandez Manor then Dad won't allow them to host the party after party all the time.

"Ok now let me call bestie." She said.

Just like that with two rings, Linda answers the phone.

Esmeralda – "Wow! What a miracle today you answered with just two rings."

Esmeralda said immediately when Linda picked up her call.

Linda – "Yeah! I know."

Esmeralda –"And here I thought you might be doing that party after party of yours."

She said to Linda.

Linda –"Well today I decided to take a rest and after cleaning this huge house all alone by myself I fell asleep immediately right after."

Linda said to Esmeralda as if she had done something incredible for the first time.

Esmeralda –"Aww! My poor sis but where is Aunt Cherry though since you did all the cleaning alone today?"

Esmeralda said and asked.

Linda –"Aunt Cherry and the rest are both on leave today."

Esmeralda –"Oh! This means you did an exclusive exercise today then?"

She asked why grinning because she knew what Linda's reply would be.

Linda –"As you can see am very strong and responsible, not useless."

Linda said with pride in her voice.

Esmeralda –"Yes I know bestie is VERY STRONG AND RESPONSIBLE NOT USELESS Ha ha ha ha..."

Esmeralda said loudly while laughing.

Linda –"Okay, now will you stop making fun of me? and tell me what's going on with you and the Fernandez Manor?"

Linda said and asked with a little annoyance in her voice since Esmeralda was making fun and laughing at her after saying she cleaned her whole house by herself so she is strong, responsible, and not useless.

Esmeralda- "Well the Fernandez Manor is the same as usual while am not."

Replied Esmeralda.

Linda- "ok! Spill it out what's wrong with you."

Esmeralda- "Dad and Uncle Patrick want to pair Elias and me together."

Esmeralda said with her voice full of sadness.
