Where is Jane, Daddy?

The tension and quiet around the hideout mansion was evident. The gloom look on Lawrence's face said more than words. Someone was going against his business and he needed to know who. He had just received a report of a failed mission back in New York, which got him pissed.

Asher looked into space as he tried to figure out what went wrong with the mission. He looked at Lilian who sat in the corner, swirling in her seat. She had told him of the mission at the funeral, but what Asher didn't understand is how even his son went missing from the van.

"Lilian, do you have any idea who's behind all that's happening?" Asher asked, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"I have absolutely no idea, but we have to find out soon or Lawrence will roast us whole from his anger," Lilian stated, certainly.

Just then Lilian's phone pinged, revealing a text that made her eyes grow wide in shock.
