Surprise at Selene's apartment

Relief and peace was what Selene felt watching her little boy lying on the hospital bed. The doctor said he would wake up soon. She wanted to be the first person he saw when he opened his cute blue eyes.

The same couldn't be said of Jackson, he was glad that his son was going to be fine, but he didn't have the courage to face him. What if his son found out that he couldn't save him because he was drunk?

Jake ran his hands through his face as he looked into the room where his son was lying on the bed. He couldn't deny the resemblance between them. He felt a flash of joy creep up his heart.

"Excuse me Sir, why are you staring at my brother's room door?" A cute girly voice said, making Jake tense.

He turned slowly as he looked at the little girl in front of him. Her deep blue eyes shouted who her father was, as the rest of her face looked like a little Selene.
