Jealous

Selene had never seen him that angry. His fingers dug into his palm bruising him, and it seemed like all his attention was in her words.

"Jake look I didn't mean it like that, you have to calm down," Selene said feeling the need to sooth him.

Jake looked at the woman before him showing him fake concern. He had gone through this with Lilian he wouldn't let himself get blinded by such concern again. All he could think about now was his kids.

Jake saw the small flick of hope he had seen put off before him. If he didn't have a chance with Selene, then he would fight for his children.

"What about my kids?" Jake said his anger hanging on a thread waiting to burst out.

"What kids? You mean my kids?" Selene asked, giving him a look full of disbelief at how cold he had become not caring if she showed him a little concern.

How dare he? After all she had been through he had the nerves to call them his kids?
