Chapter 8 Three months later

Three months later

A smiling face greeted Sherry as she walked through the open door. Sherry counted her blessings. She was glad to be alive, and surprisingly.

“Good morning, Mrs Lin. I’m glad you will be having this session with us.”

It was the third month that she had been going for psychiatry sessions at the hospital. Whatever happened that night was a complete blank in her mind. All she remembered of that night was that she had climbed up the railing, but she hadn’t made the jump.

In fact, she still vividly remembered the baby’s gurgle that she heard just before she passed out. When she woke up, Nurse Malone told her she had fallen backwards and hit her head, which made her query if she had indeed attempted suicide that night.
