Ariel felt awkward, she hated the way Aiden had made everyone uncomfortable...except Jace, of course.

He had just waltzed in and carried the excited boy away from Logan as if he had the right to.

That was another thing she would need to speak to him about; he had to stop acting like he was the one who owned the child, well...he was, but he didn't know that, so he needed to stop acting like he knew that.

They were currently standing behind a small fence, watching Aiden sitting behind Jace on a horse.

He made the boy hold the reigns and covered Jace's hands with his, gently making the horse gallop around the practice area.

They got closer to where Ariel stood, and Jace smiled widely, "Mummy, I'm riding a horse," He whispered as if speaking loudly would scare the horse.

Ariel laughed, "You're doing great, baby," She gave him a thumbs up.
