I WANT TO KNOW WHY

"So you have no Idea at all?" Ashley asked Janet.

"I don't, I just came hear a year or two ago" Janet replied. "If you really want know, you should either ask Sir Austin or Madam Catherine, they had been with master since birth" Janet said.

Though Ashley didn't like the idea she knew it was worth a try.

"Thanks Jay," she replied. "Sorry we couldn't really talk this days' "

"Don't be, I can see your spending time with someone who needs it" Janet said right before she gave her a wink.

"Typical Janet" Ashley said as she rolled her eyes.

Ashley was really determined to know the reason behind Cole's hatred to that name. She knew it was related to his past but what was it? She asked herself. If she wanted to find out, she had to ask either of the two people recommended by Janet.

She decided to ask Austin as he didn't really show any hatred towads her. Even if he didn't agree to tell her, it would be worth the shot.

"Sir Austin" she called softly.

"Yes Miss" he replied in his butlery way. "Do you need me to help with anything?"

"No" Ashley said. "I have a question"

"Go on miss, I'm all ears" he replied.

"Umm… It's about Cole" she said rather emotionally.

"What about Master?" he said sounding a bit concerned.

"I want to know why" she said hesitantly. " why he hates his middle name"

"Oh" he said like I had said something that hit him hard.

"Miss, I'm sorry I can't tell you that" he replied.

Ashley felt like it was something really bad.

"Please just let me know" she begged. "I want to be there for him in any way I can."

Austin gave a deep sigh. It made Ashley seem really worried.

"It would be better if this matter is never brought up, especially around Master" he said politely.

"But..." she said but was interrupted by Austin.

"If you don't mind, I would take my leave" he said right before leaving.

Why did he react that way? It was just a simple question? She thought. This was surely a mystery, a deep dark one. This had made her more determined to find out the truth. She needed to know, at least it would make it easier for her to help him through his problems.

She immediately knew if Austin couldn't tell her then Catherine surely wouldn't she had to find her way on her own. Or maybe she could try to meet Catherine even if it meant rejection.

Ashely walked through the empty hallways. She couldn't take Austin's reaction off her mind. Whatever happened, was it so bad? She thought. She knew Cole had been through a lot as a child, from being orphaned at an early age to harsh heir trainings but…what could this be about?

She must had been so lost in thoughts that she didn't know where she was going. The villa was a so huge that she wasn't used to some areas. The only places she knew was from her room to the dining, kitchen or outside. She didn't know any other route.

She got back to her senses when she met a dead end, she had never seen a dead end in the villa. She scanned her surroundings but fear shook her as soon as she realized she was lost. She has always suffered from mazeophobia at a very young age.

At first she felt her heart skip in nervousness, was she really lost? What if she died before she was found? What if she was never found? All those questions kept revolving round her head.

She soon lost it as fear took the best of her. She ran aimlessly to every nook and cranny hoping to find a familiar path. It was like she was running in a maze where she saw doors, doors and more doors.

Tears had started to build up in her eyes, she was dead lost. No one could find her. What was going to happen to her? What was going to happen to Kai? Would Cole miss her? The fear was surely having effect on her mental state at a point and she had started to feel really giddy, this usually happened whenever she was mentally stressed and right now she was under diSTRESS.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of a door jamming shut. This was weird as people hardly wandered in this part of the villa. She was curious on who it was so she took a little peep.

She was shocked to see the person coming out of a strange room, it seemed suspicious as the person inspected the area eerily. She wandered what was he/she doing here?
