Chapter 77 Opening the Book

Jiu Hu went out after their little drama. Hu'er was left alone again in her room. Sitting on her fur blankets, she stared at nothingness.

'After that snowstorm, I never got any hint of distress. I couldn't remember what will come next, what might happen, or if Jiu Lin has mated with that female in the book at the end.

I don't know if this is good or what but Dada said it is better to not have the ability to foretell. He wanted me to be ordinary where no one would hurt me.

To be honest, I'm satisfied already with how my life is. I have my Daddies now and future mates that would love and protect me. I'm safe and secure. That's all that matters.

I think the content in the book will not happen exactly as it is as I am here. I changed not just the life of my family but also our whole tribe with the use of every talent of our Fox Tribe.

Maybe because of the things that happened to the Tribe's life, we will live comfortability and preferably free from whatever the content of the book is.

I and the Fox Tribe will live the best of our lives. Of course, I would live in the arms of my mates.'

Hu'er smile contently. Soon enough, her mind is clear with no thoughts, with no idea what to do next.

The room is so quiet that made her restless. Hu'er wanted to do something yet she didn't have any mood to create some ropes. Not even eating could make her interested.

Her eyes looked everywhere to search for anything she could do. Suddenly her eyes stopped wandering. Her gaze intently looks at the book that was given to her by  Old Grandmom.

The Yellow Book.

She has never opened it. Her days have been so busy that she didn't have any intention to see what's inside the book.

Hu'er has always been with someone. Every one of them is a beastmen. It would be very shameless of her if she opened such a book in front of them or where she could see them.

This might be the time. The time to open the book. The only time that no future mates are in sight and no daddies are on her floor. Everyone left her alone. Maybe, it's specifically for her to open the book.

Hu'er stood up and looks at the door. Her ears twitched. She focused on her sense of hearing to make sure no one is going up. Since she didn't hear anything, her feet started slowly going to where the book is.

If someone is here to see her, they would think that Hu'er is creepily walking towards something. She looks like someone who has a secret.

She stops in front of the book and looks at the door again, striving to hear anything that can assure her that no one is going upstairs.

She can hear them getting busy downstairs, turning her study floor into a female treatment floor. No one stepped near the stairs going up. She could hear them going down though.

Right, they are going to transfer all her things to the storehouse today. Then, change the look of her study floor to make it more spacious but also can keep the privacy of the females that would stay there to be cured in the future.

They are all busy and wouldn't have time to come up. Hu'er looked at the book and snatched it like a thief. Luckily, nothing fell when she did that.

Hu'er is sure that if she makes any noise that will worry her Daddies they will come up to check on her.

She breathed a sigh of relief. Holding the book in her arms, she looks around before walking slowly and quietly toward her fur blankets.

Once Hu'er finally got seated, she breathe out. Hu'er didn't even realize that she stopped breathing when she was walking.

She shook her head and blinked. Hu'er took what was in her hands and stared at it for a while.

Hu'er heard some noise near the stairs. She immediately hid the book from her blankets and look innocent as she could. However, as time passed no one came up.

She perked up her ears. When Hu'er didn't hear anyone coming upstairs, she slowly took out the book from the blankets while staring at the door, ready to hide the book if it suddenly opened.

Putting her hand on the cover, Hu'er could feel how excited she was. She double-checked, looking at the door one last time. Ears moving, nothing suspicious can be heard. 

Hu'er looks at the book and grinned. It's time and this time she could finally see what is in the book. She opened the book and saw a written letter. The way it was written is very fancy.

"Mating," Hu'er muttered. This is the title of the book. It had been so many days that Hu'er couldn't recall when the last time she saw and read a yellow book was.

Yellow books are learning materials for her. She could learn a lot and satisfy her males back then. It was also the reason why they would come back to her after getting a taste.

Underneath the title, there is a fingerprint, these are the old females who gave ideas, and information that was written in the book.

"This should be Old Grandmom's fingerprint."

Hu'er touched the fingerprint that was in the middle. All other fingerprints surround it. Hu'er didn't know if it was her Old grandmom's but she feels it is.

Hu'er touched other fingerprints as she counted them. "Seven fingerprints plus Old Grandmom's is eight fingerprints. Are there only eight Old females?"

Until now she didn't know how many old females that have authority in their Tribe or how many Beastmen Elders they have. She never really asked and didn't think that it is that important to her, at least right now.

Before she could even see the next page, "Hu'er!! Surprise!" She nervously closes it and put it under her blankets.

She looks at them with wide eyes.
