Chapter 43 Eat

The lady who is at the other side of the table is very pretty. Her orange long hair down to her hips, it's wavy and shiny. She is wearing a beautiful fox fur dress. Her veil is white and they could only see a hint of her face. The veil doesn't conceal her eyes, unlike Hu'er and Aunt Qiao's veil, so her orange gentle eyes can be seen by everyone. Her fox ears and tail look so fluffy that Hu'er really wants to touch and hug it.

"I'm Lin Wei Yu, you can call me Aunt Yu. Nice to meet you little female, Hu'er." Even though Lin Wei Yu's lips are hidden, her eyes are curved indicating that she's smiling at her. This added to her charm

Hu'er unconsciously responded to her in a cute voice, "Nice to meet you too." This female is overflowing with maternal love, making Hu'er want to get closer to her. Hu'er has never felt like this. All her actions and expressions are expressing that she really likes the female in front of her.

Lin Wei Yu gently laughs, "You're very pretty. Do you want to trade for something here?"

Hu'er nodded, "Yes, Aunt Yu. I want your new cleaner."

Aunt Yu took two bamboo containers that had cute paint on them. "Do you want the rose one or the lily?"

Hu'er looks at her Dada. He nodded and smiled at her. "Give me one each."

"Alright, here you go." Instead of giving it to Hu'er, she gave it to Jiu Lin. Jui Lin put it in the small basket he is holding.

Hu'er cutely said, "Thank you."

Jiu Hu felt helpless towards Hu'er blatant show of liking toward Lin Wei Yu. "We will be going. Xiang Qiao, and Lin Wei Yu we will go first. We still need to go around before night comes."

"Go on." Aunt Qiao waves her hand, still looking and opening the cleaner that's on the table. She's too troubled about what to choose. She couldn't be like Hu'er who can buy two without worries. Aunt Qiao has few mates and more sons. They all need food and things. She needs to be frugal.

"Have fun." Aunt Yu waves her hand toward Hu'er and start entertaining Aunt Qiao.

Jiu Hu and the rest start walking around their Tribe's booth. "Hu'er, where do you want to go?"

"Oh? Oh! There and that one." Hu'er pointed at one of the beastmen fox's small booths; one is the Fox Tribe's official trading booth and the other is where her Daddy Chen Bin, Daddy Wu Yang, and Lu Yang are.

Since they are in front of the Fox Tribe's official trading booth already, Jui Hu decided,  "Okay, we will go to your Daddy later. Let's go here first." Only Jiu Hu, Hu'er, and Jiu Se went in. They didn't follow them as the booth was only small. There are other beastmen who are trading too.

They are all busy doing their own trade. Most of them are not from the Fox Tribe. However, even though they are busy, everyone looks at them, to be specific, they look at Hu'er. Jiu Hu nonchalantly walks toward the side table. Jiu Se is on guard.

A fox beastman who is a bit older than her Daddies, "Jiu Hu, is this your daughter?" 

Jiu Hu nodded, "Yes, she wants to look around." Hu'er saw that the beastman in front of them looks a bit like her Dada.

He waves at her, "Hello, little female. If you want anything, tell me and Uncle will help you get it."

Hu'er didn't speak but she nodded. Looks around and just points at some fruits as her Dada walks around their booth. When they finished, Jiu Se's two baskets were half full of food and thread. She only did it to support their Tribe. When they went out, Min He and Hou Yu were the ones who went in to finish the trade. Jiu Hu directed them to their booth.

They saw two females who were battling their wits. All the beastmen didn't dare to interrupt them. When females are fighting no beastmen shall dip their hands. They can only watch in helplessness.

Jiu Hu didn't go inside the booth and just stood outside. Shun Su was tasked to go inside and snoop around to know what was happening. Hu'er waited in relish. It's rare to hear a female fighting. They are now fighting about who has more mates. Then, they upgraded it to who has more cubs. 

"The Panda Tribe and Monkey Tribe wanted to take advantage of the loophole. They want to use their females to trade medicine and staff to get it in half of what is supposed to be traded. Then they just fought for everything wanting to outdo each other."

Jiu Hu looks at Jiu Se, "Go tell the Tribe Leader about this." He immediately went off. The Tribe that commences the Seasonal Trading Center has the right to add three temporary rules. It must be for the benefit of everyone or to restrict everyone. It must not be a rule that only benefited their tribe.

"We will go in later. Let's go somewhere else first," Jiu Hu decided.

"I'll stay here to explain to the Tribe Leader," Min He volunteered. Jiu Hu nodded at him.

And with that, Hu'er starts going from table to table to taste the food. Hu'er followed where she smelled good. However for some reason, Jiu Hu feels that there is something wrong with where Hu'er would stop. Not until Hu'er stops in the middle of two tables that were joined together. They are trading stones, gems, and meat buns. This is where he realized that the beastmen who are trading these are good-looking. Jiu Hu looks at the two beastmen and feels helpless.

"No!" One of the beastmen reached out to Hu'er making Jiu Hu looks at her. She is eating something.

"That's a gem! Make her throw it out!" The two beastmen are in a panic. Hu'er Daddies immediately went to surround her. They also check her out. But because of her veil, they could check it accurately.

"I'm fine Daddies. It's delicious," Hu'er assured them. She really didn't feel anything. The 'gem' she ate is like candy, when she puts it in her mouth it turns liquid. She really likes how sweet it is.  She actually didn't believe that it was a gem. She knows what a gem is. The sugar stone she ate excludes a sweet scent that made her go to this table.

"Do you feel uncomfortable?" She didn't know who asked her. But this is what she heard. 

"No," she shook her head.

"Let's go home and check." Jiu Hu ran with Hu'er in his arms. Her Daddies and future mates followed them. The two beastmen look at each other. Finally one of them followed Hu'er's group. They are after all partially responsible for what happened.
