A contemptuous remark!

Just a bit from the registrar stands, a group of young girls were standing over at the side chatting about something. * Well will you look at that! An underage girl attending the academy. * A contemptuous voice broke Araina's thought.

* Seems the academy has become partial in their judgement! Or someone has enough influence to bribe their way through into getting a spot.! *

Looking over, Araina saw two girls who stood beside the bus and had a dismayed look across their face. Feeling puzzled she tried talking to them.

* Hey! I'm ....*

* Hey I'm! Who asked you to speak? * A girl lashes out at her. She was much older than Araina, probably in her twenties with black wavy hair and petite figure. She wore a fancy dress which made her look noble.

* Ummm...sorry! Didn't mean to disturb you... * Araina tried going over them into the bus.

* Hold up. What... the nerve of this one... getting past us! * The girl spat out in utter disgust. Seemingly acting all smug.

* Hahaha...how very naive. * The other girl standing behind her uttered in amusement.

* I'm sorry if I offend you. But I'm clearly not a child! I'm here cause I own up to being here. * Araina retorted back, walking past them and entering the bus. All through her entry into the bus she kept wondering if it was part of the inhabitants of the city to be sassy and grumpy in nature.

Arriving at an empty seat, she sat beside a girl who had her gaze outside the window. She seems kind of weird with her choice of outfits for the academy. An all black dress and her hair was a mixture of black with few strands of white. She had that kind of bad girl vibes all round her.

* Hey! I'm sorry to disturb you... can I sit here? *

* Sure. * She responded sloppily without even turning to look at her.

* Ummm...I'm Araina! * She introduced herself to the girl.

* Hi! I'm Gabbie. * Her tone held no enthusiasm or excitement. * And I'm not a rogue witch! * She added which made Ariana laugh. * Then no hard feelings. * Araina replied. Gabbie stretches out her hands for a handshake and Ariana shakes it while they both smiled at each other.

A couple of hours later when the bus was filled with students who were heading towards the academy and the registrars got into the bus and they took their seats. They asked the students to fasten their seat belts in a very loud and audible voice; that the bus was about to take off. * As you all know we are heading to the academy. And we would be using the path which led straight to Higher Vale for ease and convenience of our destination! * Mrs Juvenile addressed the student as the head registrar. She raised the pitch of her voice higher causing her to seem strict. * What I expect from you all is to be at your best behaviors till we arrive. Any other instructions you would find in your personal assigned letters! * Afterwards she sat down and the bus soon started moving.

Engine rattling!!!

Gabbie shifted her gaze towards Ariana.

* I heard Higher Vale has lots of awesome places to explore... as well as high trending stuff! * Gabbie said with a little smile on her face which made her pretty. Ariana listened to her tale of how she had visited Mid spring yet never been to Higher Vale; though Ariana was into adventuring and loves being enthusiastic still she had never been to anywhere other than the surrounding towns in Lower willows...

At the capital of Sparks, Higher Vale. The settlement of Higher Vale was very much sophisticated and advanced with lots of higher and powerful witches who reside here. The atmosphere around the entire settlement was filled with abundantly pure magical essence which ripples around the air and it could be felt around. Lots of tall buildings were constructed here where different types of activities happen, causing the settlement to be more packed with lots of people who had their ancestral clans planted at this side of the capital due to his presence of better living. As the name implies, this part of the country was once covered with lots of high valleys coupled with huge landscape back then before the foundation was made. Thereafter it was named after its natural setting from the taller valleys which still remains bordering Hillward; hence the city was termed 'Higher Vale'. Much to the surprise of many, the place was very populated regardless of how populated the place was. One thing this settlement never lacked was its high number of influential people who settled here; the less wealthy person here could be compared to the mayor of Lower Willow's.

Though poor people lived here, still there are much happier with their choice of living which made them choose where they felt would be more suitable for them to reside since they experience progress in all parts of the settlements.

The academy at Sparks was built at the far side of the country. Located towards the end of Sparks with lots of open space giving the academy a great region of space. It was situated a bit close to the forest spanning wide - all the way to the dark forest. This region of space grants easy recreational activity ever held by students and professors. The academy serves as the boundaries between Sparks and pathways to the dark forest. At the academy, in a tall building. The building has only one floor, with a high ceiling from the ground level distance and countless windows. The walls were made of dark bricks with an insulating mechanism around the interior of the building. From the inside, the building has an average space with a rectangular table placed at the middle and five designed seats arranged around the table. Right now a group of five people were seated. Amongst the people present in the room were three women and two men who sat there with straight look on their faces. An elegant air exudes around them causing all five individuals to look dignified. A dimly lit mini screen was placed at the center of the table where a meeting transpired. The meeting seems to have started awhile ago.

A device was placed at the desk, enabling the screen to function. Through the screen a figure of a man could be seen from the other side of it and he was speaking to the group of people who were seated in the room and listening to his words. * We seem to be having a case of rising numbers of freshmen who got admitted this year! Which made our staff still working at this hour in transporting more freshmen as we speak. * The man at the other end said. His features couldn't be made out clearly, though his looks seemed like someone in their late forties. He was the head master of the academy in Cintra which was the academy holding the highest number of freshmen each year.
