The girl in the garden .

They were given their rooms each one had their own rooms.

As the night deepen for some odd reason sizwe couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried ,he tossed around until he finally decided to stand on the window and watch the night . His gaze cold as always watched the night ,his room was near the garden so he could see everything happening in the garden . His gaze looked around until he saw a petite figure walking around , that caught his attention .

He went near the window and watch her ,as she walk around seemingly lost in her thoughts . Her figure looked lonely ,as she had little clothes on .She walked near the pound ,she just watched it for a moment . Sizwe thought she'll jump inside . She seemed to want to jump .

Her shoulder tremble a little ,as she seem to give up whatever thoughts she had . She collapsed on the floor as a heartbreaking sob broke though her lips . As she fell down her hood came undone,her red hair fell on her back ,reminding Sizwe of lava for some odd reason .

Her cries continued to break though the dark sky . As she squat down there. Someone came near her ,Sizwe knew he was the crown prince .

" Rowan " his deep voice came out cold as he watched her with his cold eyes .

" what are you doing her? didn't i tell you we have visitors " He looked around seeing almost everything dark he return his eyes to her .

" Get up now don't annoy me " .

" i want my brother " the girl that named Rowan looked at him with red swollen eyes .

" BRING MY BROTHER BACK !! I NEVER WANTED THIS . I HATE YOU " her voice was so loud if Sizwe was sleeping he'll probably wake up .

" he's probably dead by now , he wanted peace didn't he ? now he's at peace . His poor sister on the verge of being sold. "

Rowan stood so fast she didn't watch her step she ended up in the pound .

The water was little deep ,so guards around couldn't react ,no one would want to die for an unknown girl would they? .

As Rowan struggle in the water the crown prince watched her with his cold eyes .His blue eyes watched her .

Rowan didn't know how to swim in the first place .

" All of you leave this place tomorrow we'll blame this on those monkey" .

They started leaving , Sizwe jumped from his window landing in the water as he swan towards her .

His huge figure catched her ,as he pressed his lips to hers in attempt to give her oxygen . Rowan opened her eyes a little only to be meet by dark pupil .

He emerged out of the water . water droplets dripped down from his hair , he just got a hair cut ,with dreadlocks . Since most leaders had one .

He placed her gently on the grass before pressing on her chest, he pumped her few times . She cough water ,as her cough became violent . He raised her a little . Water gushed out of her mouth .

Her eyes were red ,as he looked at him . It wasn't the first time she saw him . She saw him ,that time he was eating .

But he didn't expect to see him .

" cough * th...th..thank .."

Before she could finish she was interrupted by Sizwe " where's your room ,I'll take you there . " he didn't know what got into him .

" i ...I'll go by myself ." Rowan tried standing up only to land back on her knees again . Sizwe stood up and lifted her up ,as he carried her into his arm .

" guide me " his voice was deep ,his accent ,smell ,skin colour everything about him attracted Rowan .

' maybe it's because people of their skin colour are rare '

.As Rowan told Sizwe where she stays , she was surprised as Sizwe walked from the roof ,walking as if she weights nothing .

The next morning arrived ,As kings from different kingdoms arrived . The were too much noise ,as carriage after carriage arrived .

Food were prepared ,of course all in their own taste . Sizwe was wondering why they offered peace if they didn't really welcome them ? .

It was clear they didn't like them at all ,but still they were claiming they want peace ? .

5 of his leaders came into his room .

" chief are you also suspicious of them ? "

faraji couldn't help saying.

Thabo interjected " it's so obvious they don't want us ,The mere presence of us disgust them . "

" chief be careful they might try marrying one of their people to us . " faraji was annoyed at this behavior.

" we fell in their trick ,if we refuse the marriage alliance they'll say we don't want peace " Zawadi who is always silent couldn't help but say .

Sizwe listen to them ,but said nothing .

His expression was blank as he stared at nothing . He knew they were all tricked . The question was what would they gain by doing it ? what ?

" let's just be prepared for anything " sizwe said as he walked out .
