Were you scared that I will steal your power?

"Take these two to the restroom; they have just fainted. They will wake up in a few hours."

Upon hearing Nana's instructions, both David and Riya carried Alex and Ema to the restroom. Seeing all this, Ray also went with them.

"Come find me." Hearing that, Alex woke up all sweaty, finding Ray sitting beside the bed.

"Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" Ray spoke, concerned.

"I'm all good. Don't worry about that," Alex reassured.

Upon seeing the surroundings, he saw Ema sleeping on the bed next to his. Alex asked Ray about her condition.

Hearing that, Alex had a concerned look on his face, thinking, "Not again. Someone else got hurt for me. Damn, why am I so weak? I thought I was somewhat strong, but…"

Ray interrupted Alex's inner monologue, saying, "Miss Nana asked me to take you to her when you wake up."

"Why?" Alex asked.

"I don't know. Now, hurry up; let's go." Hearing Ray, both Alex and Ray started moving towards Nana's room.

"Oh, Alex, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" Riya asked when she saw both Alex and Ray.

"Nah, I'm fine, teacher. See, I'm all good," Alex said, making all kinds of movements.

"Thank god you're okay. I was so concerned about you, you know," Riya expressed her gratitude.

"Thanks for your concern," Alex replied.

"So, where are you two going?" Riya asked.

"Miss Nana asked me to take Alex to her when he woke up, so we are going to see her." Hearing Ray, Riya spoke, "You all should be respectful when you meet her."

Hearing that, Alex asked, "Why?"

"What do you mean? She is your teacher, but that's not the point. You all don't know about her; she is even above us. So please don't do anything to disrespect her."

Hearing that, both of them nodded and went to Nana's room. Ray knocked on the door, and Nana opened her room, seeing both Alex and Ray. Nana said, "It's you two. Thanks, Ray; your work is done. And you," pointing at Alex, "come inside."

Hearing that, Ray ran as fast as he could toward his room, thinking, "Thank god she asked me to leave. I was so frightened."

Entering Nana's room, Alex found it to be a large hall with minimal furniture. The room had books organized on bookshelves, a study table with a diary on top, giving it a mature vibe.

"Don't stand there; come sit," Nana said, and Alex took a seat on the sofa in her room.

"Why did you call me here?" Alex asked.

"Getting straight to the point, huh? I like that," Nana said.

"So you called me here to make fun of me," Alex spoke.

Hearing that, Nana started speaking, "As if I will waste my time on such petty things. I called you here because I want to ask a few things."

"What do you want to ask me?" Alex said, interested.

"Can you copy my power too?" Hearing her, Alex spoke immediately, "No, I can't seem to copy your power."

Listening to that, Nana said, "So even your power has limitations, huh? But that's to be expected; if not, this would be the most broken ability."

Hearing that, Alex laughed, saying, "So you called me here just to know that I can copy your power. Were you scared that I will steal your power?"

"Steal my power? Oh, please, don't flatter yourself. My concern is far more profound than that," Nana responded with a smirk. "You see, Alex, your ability is quite intriguing. I've never encountered anyone who can replicate powers like you. It raises questions, questions that could be pivotal for the future."

Alex, intrigued by her words, leaned in, urging her to continue.

"Your power could be a key to unlocking secrets, secrets that might change the course of our exploration beyond the barrier. I need to understand the extent of your abilities and how it may influence our mission," Nana explained.
