Finally arrived at his dorm room, a cozy little space with a comfortable bed and a desk. Eryndor dropped his bag onto the floor and sat down on the bed, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally here, at the Eridorian Academy of Magic.

He said to himself, "Status window," and a small, translucent screen appeared in front of him. He looked at it, and saw that the Main Quest: Attend the Welcome Ceremony at the Eridorian Academy of Magic was now marked as "Completed".

Eryndor's eyes landed on the "Accept Reward" button, and he felt a surge of curiosity. When he had last tried to accept the reward, nothing had happened. He had been left wondering what the reward could be, and why it wasn't working.

But now, with the quest marked as completed, Eryndor decided to try again. He reached out and tapped the "Accept Reward" button, his heart beating slightly faster with anticipation.

As soon as Eryndor tapped the "Accept Reward" button,

his heart beating slightly faster with anticipation, he expected something to happen. But nothing did. The screen remained the same, with no indication of what the reward was or why it wasn't working.

Eryndor's face fell, and he let out a disappointed sigh. "What's going on?" he muttered to himself. "Why isn't it working?"

He tried again, tapping the button multiple times, but still nothing happened. Eryndor's frustration grew, and he started to feel a sense of unease.

And then, after what felt like an eternity, Eryndor again tapped accept rewards

Main Quest: Attend the Welcome Ceremony at the Eridorian Academy of Magic

Accept reward : ???

YES/NO

- YES

He felt a sudden pain in his head. It was like a sharp knife had been stabbed into his brain, and he jolted up in surprise.

But the pain was too much, and Eryndor fell backwards, landing hard on the floor. He cried out in agony, clutching at his head as the pain intensified.

The room around him began to spin, and Eryndor felt like he was going to pass out. He tried to sit up, but the pain was too much, and he fell back down again.

As he lay there, Eryndor felt like his head was going to explode. He couldn't think, couldn't move, couldn't do anything except feel the pain.

As he lay there, Eryndor started to see images. They were fragmented and disjointed, but they seemed to be memories of some kind.

He saw a boy, around 5 or 6 years old, with a mop of messy brown hair and a wide, cheerful grin. The boy looked familiar, and Eryndor realized with a start that it was him. Or, at least, it was the body he was currently inhabiting.

Eryndor's mind reeled as he watched the memories unfold. He saw the boy playing with his friends, laughing and chasing each other through the streets. He saw the boy's parents, smiling and happy, as they played with their child.

As Eryndor continued to watch the memories, he saw the boy's life unfold before his eyes. He saw the boy's parents, smiling and happy, but also struggling to make ends meet. He saw the boy's friends, laughing and playing together, but also fighting and arguing.

But as the memories continued to unfold, Eryndor saw the boy's parents, arguing and fighting, their faces twisted with anger and sadness. He saw the boy, crying and scared, as he watched his parents' relationship fall apart.

And then, Eryndor saw the boy's parents, standing in front of a dark and ominous forest, their faces filled with fear and uncertainty. He saw the boy, standing behind them, his eyes wide with terror as he watched his parents disappear into the forest.

Eryndor's mind reeled as he watched the memories unfold. He saw the boy, alone and scared, as he searched for his parents in the forest. He saw the boy, crying and desperate, as he stumbled upon a strange and mysterious laboratory.

The laboratory was filled with strange equipment and strange symbols etched into the walls. Eryndor saw a group of robed figures, their faces hidden behind masks, working on a mysterious project. They were surrounded by strange devices and machinery, and anybody could that they were working on something dark and sinister.

The boy was in a cage with several other kids, the robed figures began to chant and gesture, their hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. The air around them began to distort and ripple, and the boy's parents, suspended in mid-air, their bodies glowing with a faint, otherworldly energy.

The robed figures were experimenting on the boy's parents, using dark magic to manipulate and control them. The boy was taken out of the cage and thrown at the side of the experiment.

The boy's parents, once full of life and love, began to transform into grotesque, inhuman creatures. Their bodies began to contort and twist, their skin stretching and morphing into scaly, greenish-gray flesh.

Their eyes turned a glowing yellow, filled with an otherworldly energy, and their faces elongated into snouts, complete with razor-sharp teeth. Their arms and legs transformed into twisted, claw-like appendages, and their bodies began to emit a dark, pulsating aura.

The boy's mind recoiled in horror as he watched, unable to look away from the twisted scene unfolding before him.

And then, the robed figures stopped their chanting, and the boy's parents began to move towards the boy. They walked slowly, their eyes fixed on their son, their faces twisted into grotesque, inhuman grins.

The once-loving parents were now monstrous creatures, their faces frozen in twisted, inhuman grins, as they moved stiffly and unnaturally towards their terrified son.
