I smell trouble brewing-

"Ok, what's your deal?"

The room was a mess, Astra hiding behind her desk in her room that she turned into a shield. She pointed a bat at the cub, who was tied up against her bed.

Her skin was bruised up, and she looked rightfully traumatized.

"You were all nice a second ago," She muttered,

"Or was it a day ago, however long I slept for!"

"Although," She sat behind the made-shift barricade and put her hand to her chin as if she was thinking of something,

"Time could be moving differently on that planet for all I know. We were a considerable distance from the sun, so it could be possible-"

"That damn alarm again?? Didn't I turn you off," She walked up to the clock and stared at the time, and her heart sank,

'I have a test today...' She thought,

'I didn't study...'

'Fudge!'

The cub continued to struggle to get out of the binds Astra placed her,

Astra left the room in a hurry rushing to get ready before a huge slam was heard at the front door,

The bell rang at school, and a group of students started to leave for their lunch.

Among the group of students two were having a convo,

one of them was a short boy with straight brown hair and grey eyes, and the other was a girl a bit on the tall side, she had red hair and blue and brown eyes.

"Where's Astra?" The boy asked as they walked along the hallway,

"I don't know, but I hope she realizes what time it is," The girl muttered with her arms folded,

"The test is after lunch, right?"

"Yup, and the clock is only ticking from there."

Hours passed by, and Astra was still not in school, and soon, the bell rang for the end of lunch.

The two students walked into their classroom looking for any sign of Astra, but it was no good, she was late.

They both sat down, twiddling their thumbs, looking at the door.

"Ok, students put your phones and books away we are about to start the test,"

"Wait a minute!"

Astra ran through the door, out of breath,

"I'm here, sorry,"

"What kept you?" Her teacher asked,

"Nothing important," Astra took the page from the teacher and took a seat before he could utter another word, sitting next to the two students who were talking about her during lunch period,

"Hey Dawn, hi Juno." She greeted them as she sat next to them,

"Where the hell were you??" Dawn leaned in to whisper at Astra,

"We were worried"

"Yea, what she said,"

"I had something to do before my mom left," Astra whispered back as the class began,

"Everyone quiet down, your test is about to begin,"

Astra had been gone for a while now and the cub was getting restless, struggling to break free, She cut the rope that binded her and started to sniff around the place.

She made her way downstairs, clawing all the furniture she could find, before looking at the fridge.

Curious to what a massive thing could be holding the cub inched near it as if it was hunting the thing.

The minute it got close enough it pounced on the handle and pulled it towards herself revealing the inside.

The sound of sirens played and someones cat meowed loudly,
