"Urghhh..." Stella stirred under her covers. Her chest hurt terribly. She wanted to get up, but her body felt too weak to do that.

The burning sensation in her chest made it difficult for her to breathe. This scared her and tears slid out of her closed eyes.

"Shhh.. It's okay. I am here."

"It's okay. The pain will go away. Soon. I promise."

Calhoun's ever so gentle and assuring voice reached her ears. Though the burning in her chest was still as painful as before, his voice gave her a mental relief.

"C-Calhoun.."

Stella felt like thrown into a deep ocean as she tried to reach out her hand for anything that can help her.

Just then two strong hands gently lifted her and settled her in a warm embrace.
