Zera

"I SAID WHO ARE YOU!?"

Zera, being in the middle of getting undressed was standing half naked in the middle of the room in the motion of taking off her bra, she was too flustered to say anything.

"Zee, what the hell are you doing waving your sword indoors? you know Silvana is going to be pissed"

Another person appeared in the doorway, this time a man.

He made direct eye contact with Zera and eye contact with... the rest of her body...

Zera was in her underwear. She was slender but it was clear to see she was packing some muscle. Her stomach was flat but had abs that were subtle but well defined. Her wide waist was further complimented by her long legs and almost perfect skin The bra she currently had on was made from a thin silky material that was almost transparent and the panty well...It was a bit tight to say the least but it's safe to say who in their right mind could resist the urge to stare? To top it all off she had beautiful dark hair with waterfall braids and light blue dye highlights on the tips which faded the more it came up to her head through which in turn made her eyes look even more stunning which were a light blue.

Zera became rose red to the point where they thought she was about to pass out. She picked up her clothes from the floor and tried to cover herself up as much as she could.

The woman noticed that one of the items of clothing she was using to cover herself was an imperial officer blazer.

"Wait! You're the new kid aren't you?"

Zera still flustered frowns and responds

"Kid!? We're the same age! And could you get that creep to stop staring!"

The woman turned towards her comrade who was indeed still blindly staring and pushed him out of the way.

"Hunter get the fuck out! this is the girls room you idiot!"

"OOUCCH! Okay okay damn why the hell are you always so aggressive!?"

The woman closes the door and sheathes her sword.

"I'm sorry about that, just wasn't expecting you at all.

"I'm Senior Guardian Zaranah Astraia but you can just call me Zee"

Zera still trying to keep herself covered, awkwardly smiles.

"I'm Z-Zera...so can I get dressed or do you also want to stare?"

She said sarcastically

"Ugh! fine if it makes your sensitive ass feel better I'll wait outside just hurry up I'm supposed to escort you downstairs to the ceremony"

"I'll be right there just give me a moment"

Zaranah leaves the room

"What in the god given fuck just happened"

Zera trying her best not be late shrugged off what had just happened and begins to dress, the uniform she was given for the ordainment ceremony fitted her like a glove. It was blue and identical to what the other guardians were wearing except her trimmings were black. "I wonder what the colours symbolise" she thought to herself.

Once she had fitted the entire uniform she went over to admire herself in the bedroom mirror, she had on a white skirt with black trimmings just like the blazer along with stockings which had the same colour scheme. To top it all off she wore beautiful black boots she was borrowing from her mom.

Once she made sure she looked presentable she walked out her room to Which Zaranah, laying on the living room couch sat up to look at her.

"Huh, not bad new kid you almost look as pretty as me"

"You know my name can you stop calling me that already"

"Oh come on lighten up it's your big day!"

Zaranah got up, took Zera by her hand and led her out of the room all the way to the ceremony downstairs which was being held in the Apostles throne room. The palace wasn't exactly big just insanely tall, 44 floors to be exact. It would be easy for Zera to get lost so it's thoughtful that they had Zaranah escort her.

"You nervous?" Asked Zaranah

"No not really... should I be?

"Not at all, I just hope you have a high pain tolerance"

"You said WHAT now?"

Zaranah put her hand in front of her mouth to muffle her laughter

"HEY HEY, WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PAIN TOLERANCE!?"

"Pain tolerance? oh my I don't recall mentioning that"

Zera was uncertain if Zaranah was messing with her but it was pointless to argue with someone as sarcastic as her.

Finally they arrived at the throne room, they were massive double doors with a shiny metallic handle on each one that were cold to the touch. It was intimidating...these doors didn't just lead to any room after all. The Apostle herself is right on the other side.

"Looks like I was right, you are nervous" remarked Zaranah

"Look I'll open the door and all you have to do is walk down the aisle to her majestie's throne and kneel, she'll say a bunch of blah blah righteous stuff and you'll have to say some blah blah oath then before you know it it'll all be over sounds easy enough right?"

It's so hard to tell if she's acting like a child on purpose or if she's genuinely an idiot, Zera thought to herself.

"Okay, I'm ready"
