YGGDRASIL 5

I had already done everything to ensure a smooth fusion and now only needed to start the process and wait for it to finish, which might take hundreds, if not thousands of years, after all, I wasn't fusing two small things but several near-infinite universes.

During the fusion, no one was allowed in either of our homes and I didn't ask them to stay on Earth, or even this reality. I gave each of them an Item that might look like a smartphone but I can assure you it was not.

This phone was soul-bound and had a small part of my power, giving it many features, including the ability to open portals to other realities. At least most of them, I didn't allow them to go some rather batshit crazy ones, like DGZ, Marvel, DC, Warhammer, and the like, not just for their own safety but because I wanted to explore some of them in the future myself.

Leo didn't hesitate to look for new adventures, Viliana was a bit hesitant and decided to stay a bit longer, and Ianara just looked for strange realities with new laws to experience how they might affect her sleep.

Since the fusion process was semi-automatic, I didn't need to watch over it 24/7 and could also visit a few realities on my list that had some interesting things to offer. It wasn't going to be any large realities, just some fun stuff like Minecraft, two old animes that barely anyone knew but had a huge upper power limit, Middle Earth, and more. (A/N- give me some other suggestions here)

Today was actually the day the original YGGDRASIL would have ended and been transported to the New World but because the game's impact on reality was too great and it had long become a necessity, there was no way that they would allow it to shut down.

The once powerless humans had gotten hooked by the promise of power and evolution and now everyone was allowed to enter YGGDRASIL once they turned 18.

I stopped ordering the developers to make new updates and improve the game a long time ago and allowed them to finally go to the afterlife. Before I freed them, I made sure that they gave me a perfect copy of the game, so that I could add it to the Tower in case anyone wants to continue playing in the future or new family members want to build their own floor.

The funny thing is, today I sensed a certain someone looking over from a different universe but immediately got scared and stopped watching, in fact, I wasn't the only one to notice. Many players had hit the max level and were able to sense someone looking at them with ease, especially someone so much weaker.

This certain someone was the Dragon Emperor and he was the answer to the biggest mystery in Overlord. He was the one who turned parts of the original game into reality and transported players to the New World every 100 years.

Not much was known about him, except that he was above level 100, which was the previous limit, making him Invincible against all players. Unluckily for him, being above level 100 wasn't even considered strong in my version of the game, and from what I could tell he had barely entered level 200.

When he saw that this version of the game gave players power way above his own, he immediately scrapped the idea of bringing them to his world. What scared him the most was that these players already brought their terrifying power to reality, meaning someone even stronger than him had decided to turn these players into his toys and he wasn't wrong.

I wasn't interested in him so I let him go, the only interesting thing about him is his power to bring the game to reality with his Wild Magic but since it was just another Primitive Magic, I wasn't interested in it.

Although I wasn't interested in it, the same couldn't be said about the players. They were fascinated by how someone much weaker was able to look and possibly even travel between universes and wanted to capture him to obtain this method.

Poor guy, he only wanted to find some toys and now he is being chased by crazy lunatics from Earth who want his biggest trump card and won't rest until they get it, they even sat their dumb racism for each other aside just for this chase and decided to cooperate, though I'm pretty sure this partnership will end the moment someone catches him.

Anyway, enough of the stalling. Time to start the fusion.

A/N- I'm gonna write a short extra chapter with the perspective from Momonga tomorrow before he goes to different realities. It won't be long but you wanted it.

Also, if you feel like this chapter was unnecessarily dragged on, that's because I was done writing what I wanted after 300 words or so but I wanted the Momonga chapter to be a separate chapter and I couldn't let him go to another reality and then skip back to his previous reality, it just feels weird.
