48 Holy War 3

When I possessed the demon, I already felt some differences. The darkness I now had was a lot stronger and I could cover more with it and when I stretched out my hand, a dark purple flame grew in it. I could already use the hellfire since I was in a demons body but I could feel that it would grow the more my body took over.

I used the darkness to create pants one me, the advantage of this pants made out of darkness was that it would grow with me. I only made pants because I don´t feel like wearing anything else and I haven´t worn shoes for a long time. I actually quite liked walking barefoot.

Next, I created a portal once again to test my vulnerability to sunlight but this time my arm remained unharmed. That's a relieve actually, it would be a pain if I had to constantly create eternal nights on the planet I was on just so I could walk around.

I once again released a flying eye to wander around, there were still many people I wanted to stalk and places to see.

I had actually been thinking two things. For one, I was planning to steal the Sacred Tree but my love for this anime made me a bit reluctant to destroy it, so I decided to steal it from an alternate universe where I wouldn´t see the consequences of it´s disappearance. The other thing was related to Sunshine, I wasn´t planning on using the Grace as it was way too weak for me but I wanted to put it into the 'Reincarnation Lottery Wheel' in the future, I´m sure that many reincarnator would become arrogant and think of themselves as invincible with it and that would certainly be entertaining.

The war was currently at it peak and my eyes were being destroyed on a regular basis. Most of the time it were the members of Stigma, mostly the Goddess clan, who thought that since it wasn´t from their side that it must be from the demons.

I had to constantly create new eyes to the point were I opted to just give them stronger concealment spells but decided against it, otherwise how would I meet new people.

After almost a year of this, I meet a new person that was able to not only sense me but also converse with me.

It was Merlin, the probably only person besides Gojo to actually have a real understanding of infinity. Having an infinity related power didn´t mean you understood the concept behind it.

Merlin was very curious about the flying eye and its magic but that didn´t surprise me. She was actually so obsessed with Knowledge that she spend 3000 years planning on how to revive Chaos, the creator of this universe.

She was actually the one who suggested Dubs, the master blacksmith of the giant clan who is also the creator of the future Sacred Treasures, to create the coffin of eternal darkness. Her goal was to seal both the Demon King and the Supreme Goddess and break the balance of the world to resurrect chaos but her plan failed when the goddess clan decided to sacrifice their physical body to seal the demon clan.

Now that I think about it, she would be the perfect Librarian for my Library. It had the infinite knowledge she desired and I would have someone to research and advance all this knowledge.

I would obviously have to restrict some very powerful stuff and put obedience seals on her to make sure she didn´t rebel or anything but that was alright. She would have to read all these books while I would have them send directly to my head.

The one problem with my Library was that while it contained all this knowledge, it mostly remained untouched and didn´t advance. But as long as she did research and this knowledge got stored in the Library as well, this problem would fix itself. Only problem is how to convince her, well in the worst case I can just enslave her and throw her into the Library, there´s no way she would leave the boos untouched.

After our first encounter, we met again several times and I think she was actually searching for the eyes so that she could study them and maybe even have them lead to me, I could tell she was dying to study me.

Three years later, the goddess clan was preparing to seal the demons and vanish from Britannia with them and my transformation was finally complete. It took a bit longer than expected just like the changes were more than expected.

I had only one change in appearance but this one was drastic and unexpected; my eyes were gone.

Well, to be precisely my eye sockets were still there but my eye ball were gone. Somehow my eyes mutated and not in the normal way were you get strange eye colors or patterns but in a much more bizarre and unexplainable way.

Instead of eyes, I now had what looked like purple suns made of hellfire. Sometimes a few flames left my eyes for a short time but other than looking, it didn´t actually do anything.

My hellfire grew insanely more powerful and my darkness grew in all proportion.

Other than these useful changes there was also the fact that I now had seven hearts even if I didn´t actually need them. I guess my NE couldn´t understand that I could reform my body if it was destroyed and I didn´t need extra hearts to ensure my survival but it doesn´t matter anyway. I´m sure that by the time I absorb a race that didn´t have organs like a kidney or stomach it would replace some of the useless organs.

A/N- if your confused about the eye thing let me explain. Many years ago, I read Percy Jackson and in the first book Ares was described to have suns instead of eyes and when he got angry they actually melted his sunglasses. I always loved imagining someone having them but always got disappointed when protagonists only got the Sharingan or Six Eyes, so I decided to just give my own MC these eyes.
