The door opened wide and they entered the mist. Alex held her hand and ordered her to wait. They watched as the mist fade away and finally they could have a clear vision of the garden. Shinny stones, or flower on the green emerald grass. White birds flying around and butterfly bigger and larger in size, more magnificent she used to see in the human world. The garden had plenty of apples and pears trees. The sky was crimson red and yellow. As if the sun was setting out. A sweet and light air was looming around. They walked toward the sliver banister bridge that led them on a small island on the middle of a crystallized clear water lake.
"Alex, why are we here?" She asked as he helped her walk.
"Nythm has special powers that might help us. Maybe she can help us understand who are you and how are you connected to our world." He explained. And one more thing as well…..but i can't tell you that.
A tall woman with long white hairs was seated on the edge of the lake and she was running her fingers on water. Slowly twirling her fingers. She was thinking. Maybe already guessing why they were there. Her face tiny and almost pale as her hairs. A light blue shine on her eyes lashes and her eyes small and pale apple green. Her lips were red as blood and her fingers small and thin. She had a long corset dress, ash white color combine with a little hint of yellow and red. Her eyes were fixed on them. "My nephew, what brings you here?"
"My aunt, I apologize for showing up this early hour but I need some answers that I think only you would be able to give me." Alex helped Amy next to her and kneeled down as well. "This is…."
"Amy, I know. Nice dress I've always fancied the green." This time she was staring at Alex who was trying to hide his smile. "I understand that you want to know about yourself. But firstly tell me how is my Son?"
"He is fine Aunt."
"Has he repented for what he had done?"
"He had done nothing to surfer that much…." Amy defended.
"Amy, when time would strike then you'll see by yourself who is right or wrong." She said with certainty and finally added. "Tell me how can I help you my son?"
"Aunt, I think I might have the correct way but I need you to guide me through it, I was hoping to travel to the Village of Pizzards and consult the Crystal…."
The village of pizzards, inhabited by small creatures created by the magic of heaven, to protect everyone destiny. Of course he only read about it, but he never travelled to it, because it was in the valley of Shiras, a village that no one would dare to venture.
"The crystal?"
"When someone is born here in Bewix a falling star falls from the sky and transform into a crystal that bided us and write our destiny. It is the blessing we get from heaven itself. And it forth tells our destiny and answers any question we have about our birth."
"And if I belong to your world then I should have one as well." Amy understood. Finally a smile touched her lips. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
"It is useless to consult the crystal Amy." Her voice echoed as she talked.
"Why do you say so aunt?" Alex frowned at her and gaze from her to Amy. A disappointed look reflected on her face. "Aunt, please tell me."
"Amy, come here. Take my hand." She cupped her face and stare into Amy's eyes. Her eyes start to change color from green to red and finally black.
She felt her body tremble and another burning sensation as she breath. She could feel blood and heat running through her nerves and cutting flesh and pain inside her. Amy kneeled down, almost rolling over with pain and struggle. "Amy, please Aunt, stop it. It is hurting her." Alex reached for her and took her into his embrace. Her hands and face were all sweaty and burning. The next moment she felt silence and unconscious in his arms. Her body, dead and still. "What happen to her?"
"Nothing, she is just tired of the charm I used on her." She explained. "The one who conceived heraway from us, used a protection spell and bided the crystal of prophecy into a heart. Such a heart that is meant to protect her, whenever the occasion calls for. Such a heart that she would trust even more than her own. That's why I said that it is useless to consult the Pizzards for it."
"What?" Alex ran his fingers on her forehead. "So it is true that she does belong to us.Can you tell me who that person is?"
"Most unfortunate, no. When things like that occurred I believe the best is to let time decides how to solve it."
"But, how are we going to know that? We have to start from somewhere. Isn't there a way we can…"
"Of course there is." The nythm assured him. "I used theFoxius, revelation spell that would react on her heart and as her heart will be connected to her crystal it will react on it as well and reveal us a way to know the truth about her. Now the real question is who is that person who used that spell on her? Who wanted to concealed her from us and why?"
"But how would I know how to crack the codes?" For he knew that this spell might comes in any ways…as a dream or a map or painting or even vision…..He had to stay with her all the time to make sure it react well on her and reveal the answer to their quest.
"I'm sorry Alex, now that would depend on the willingness of the crystal how he wishes to reveal himself. Take her back and make sure she gets rest and be accompanied every time." She halted another few more minutes and added. "Alex, make sure you help her into that, because if she resist to the spell, she will pay by her life..... The crystal is the forth teller of our act and when I did the spell I saw death in this process, now it's in her hands how she would project it."
They were now passing by the wailing forest. Yiana shivered at the coldness of the weather. The palm trees were high and almost as healthy. "We have been walking since hours. Can't we stop for a quick rest?"
"Actually it's only been forty Five minutes and three seconds, your highness." Mark replied proudly. "We can't afford to waste any more time."
"Tell me again why we can't use a portal to get to the cave. It would have saved us time….."
"And there could be any other chance that we provoke and enhance the portal that had been opened an easier way to reach Bewix." Jon casted another look at her.
"Yiana, as the queen to be you should take a proper pledge and good habit to walk, as you have to walk around in your kingdom to visit your people."
"I hate to admit this, your highness but his majesty is right." Mark agreed.
"I never knew that being a queen could be such difficult." She reached for his hands as they walked on the rocky path. "I mean please, I am a mermaid and it is difficult for me to walk, my knees start to hurt."
"Then I guess that you should start practicing right away." He slipped her hands off his shoulder and walk ahead.
"Princess yiana, I guess we should give him some time to recover himself." Jon whispered. "But one thing is sure, he still does feels that something just like once before."
"Why he doesn't show it then?" Yiana desperately added. "My lord of Love, I know that you can see clearly through his heart, can you see the reason behind his stubbornness?"
"Your highness, it is not stubbornness but just another factor of love that he is expressing in himself. But still I can advice you, show him your love and concern and he will be once again in your life. Trust my words."
"Jack, where have you been?" Chimera yelled from behind. "I woke up this morning and you weren't there."
Jack funnily chuckled and finally senses the worry in her tones. "I have a class to attend my love, and I was preparing for that. You don't need to worry, I won't leave you, not this time." He assured himself.
Chimera dragged him into her arms and vigorously captured his lips. And they were engulfed into a world that they once dreamed. Chimera closed her eyes and grinned at his cuteness and way he leave the quick kiss after a long one. "Tell me my love, why are you attending a class, you have become a professor. If I knew that such a sexy professor would be teaching us, I would personally volunteer to do my classes again."
"It is not too late my love, and Ian, Jamie and myself will be teaching some simple tricks and protection spell that might come in handy if the situation gets worst."
"She closed her eyes in despair, still lurking inside her troubled heart, perhaps looking for a probable answer that would guide her through this fight between logic and love. For she knows that if she decides to go for logic she might lose love….."
"I sat here next to her and waiting for one simple answer that might change the course of everything…One word that would prove that what I feel for her is true or just another sin, I might not recover after. One word and I shall take my pledge on it."
Alex stopped writing and finally raised another eyebrow stalking at her. She moved. Her small face sweaty and oily and still. Her hairs loose and messy. She laid there on the bed, motionless this time, maybe got lost into a world of her own. Alex pondered if he belonged to her world. Help her in this process…if she struggle with that she will pay by her life….. That's what his aunt said. She slowly opened her eyes, pines as it burns. She moans. "Alex, what happened?" She whispered.
