Once the customers left, Chou Biyu changed the sign on the door to 'closed', locked the door with the key, dropped the window blinds and turned around to look at Lisa who has been watching her with dull, almost lifeless eyes.

Biyu managed to smile at her but a tear quickly slid down her face and she touched her chest. 

"Poor Jas..." She cried before moving closer to hug Lisa. She had waited a long time just to embrace her, knowing she was hugging her niece who was miraculously alive. 

Lisa stood there limply for a minute before she made an effort to hug her back. It felt weird but pleasant.
