Chapter twenty five: Sacrifice for freedom

As we start rolling away from the base and gates creak open we start barreling down the dirt roads chanting army songs I look up to see our bombers elegantly gliding following us I pull out I small bit of our rations and eat a bit since we have tons. It was actually believe it or not a relaxed ride not attacks no raids just a safe journey we kept going over our plans as we go since it was a very long drive we'd talk and joke and maybe drink a bit not much we had to prepared. As we are driving along I decided to do something stupid I crawl to the top of the truck and lay there I laugh as the all yell and tell me that I am being stupid I ignore them as I shoot down any hidden snipers. I don't know how I can see them but I can I snipe them down as they fall dead to the ground I always manage to get them in the head I can hear my comrades praising me for each shot I don't really pay any attention and keep a watching. I noticed that there was a noise I noticed a noise of something in the sky.
