Thirteenth Meal - Kid’s Lunch (1)

"Father, father, you said that you would take me to a special place for lunch?"

The man patted the boy on his head before saying, "Of course. It is a place that not many people in this world have been to and has the most delicious food in the world."

The boy's eyes lit up when he heard this and he asked, "Can we go now?"

The man patted the boy's head again before saying, "Go and find your mother first. Father has to take care of some business first. Once father is done, I'll bring both of you there for lunch."

The boy gave a nod before running off into the hall outside this office.

Watching him run off, the man couldn't help revealing a wide smile.

This boy was his pride and joy. It was because of him that he was able to keep going with all of this tedious work.

After the boy ran out of the office, he went through the halls of this palace until he arrived at a set of beautifully decorated doors.
