Seconds feel like hours as they wait for confirmation on the other end of the line.
“She’s in there,” Duncan says confidently. “My nose never fails. It took me a while to find her through the other smells, but she’s there.”
Blake looks down at the ground and sighs. “Okay, I trust you wouldn’t do anything to put any of us in harm’s way, Duncan,” he says firmly.
“All right! Let’s do some breaking in!” Liam says triumphantly.
Blake jumps toward the phone. “No! I don’t want you guys going into the cabin until we know where Dustin is. I don’t want to give him too much credit, but it could be a trap.”
Liam can be heard huffing in response.
“What do you want us to do then?” Connie asks. “No offense, but it’s really important we bring Lana home today. And, what are we going to do with Dustin if we do run into him?” she adds, concerned.
