I was lying

After some time I regained consciousness. Meera was sitting holding my hand. Seeing my regaining consciousness, Meera started crying holding my hand and started blaming herself.

"Oh! Nuba. I'm so sorry, it's all my fault. If I hadn't gone with him, you wouldn't be in this situation today."

I didn't know what to say. My head was hurting so much. Meera also needed to be calmed down.

"Mira, nothing happened to me. I am absolutely fine. If you were in my place, you would have done the same thing.

After getting Rem's phone call, my parents and Mira's elder sister quickly came to the college. Meera hugged her elder sister on seeing her. Meera's elder sister kept patting Meera's head. 

When my mother saw me, she hugged me and started crying.

"Nuba, are you okay? I was so scared when I got the phone call from your college. I didn't know what to do and told your father. Then we quickly come here without delay."

I sat up, pushing my mother away from me.

"Mom, I am fine. You are just worrying. 

"Good evening aunty and uncle. I am Meera. Nubar's friend. Everything that happened today is because of me. I am very ashamed of it."

Meera took all the blame on her shoulders. She even said sorry to my parents. 

"What happened to you two? And today was your college welcome party."

Meera's elder sister asked what happened to us? She looked quite worried.

"Actually today I..." I stopped Meera as she started telling me what happened today.

"Ah! Sister, Meera was feeling a little bad today. So Meera was coming here to take a rest. I was worried about Meera, so I followed Meera too. Suddenly Meera started to dazy in front of a car, I ran and took Meera away. Mira's leg was hurt and she lost consciousness. And hit the car and hit my head. Brother Rem then saw us, I told him to bring Meera here. After taking Meera here I also lost consciousness. Maybe someone from our college brought me here. After that brother Rem informed you."

While I was lying, Meera was looking at me in surprise. Brother Rem and the two young ladies also got surprised.

Meera then hugged me and she whispered why I am lying to everyone. 

"Well done my brave girl! I am so proud of you."

My father was praising me by putting his hand on my head. Mira's elder sister also held my hands and thanked me. After that we returned to our home.That night I was so tired that I slept early. My mother stayed up all night patting my head.

The next morning Mira went to the college but I could not go. The senior was standing at the window of his student council room looking at the main gate of the college. Vice President Rion came and called Arab, but Arab did not pay any attention.

"Arab." Rion called Arab again, but this time a little louder. "Arab!" This time Arab just shook his head in surprise.

"Hmm"

"What did you think about the meeting today? I don't think Miss Nuba will be unable to come to college today. So if the meeting is not held today, the best decision will be made when Miss Nuba comes to college. What do you all think?"

While talking Rion put one hand on her chest and held her chin with the other.

"Yes, I think he is right, Aarab." Liana agrees with Rion.

"Same here" Enma said it while she read a newspaper sitting on a couch.

"Alright, If everybody thinks so."

Aarab gripped the window curtain tightly with one hand as he spoke. Rion noticed what Aarab did.

"As a student council member we should pay a visit to Miss Nuba. So, make arrangements for the visit. Aarab gave an order and went there.

"What happened to him? He seems to be angry for some reason."

Liana was saying confusedly.

"Not to worry, dear. It's our brother's (manly issue) problem. I'll handle him."

Rion said it with a playful smile.

"Let's attend the class first."

Enma said it while leaving the student council room. Liana also followed her. After that Rion also went out, locked the door and mumbled to himself.

"You have fallen for her, my boy! But you have no idea."

After the class, Rion, Liana, Enma, Mira and Arab stood in front of my house gate with a basket of fruits and a bouquet of Freesia flowers.

"Wow!" Lyanna squealed happily. She had no idea that my house would be so beautiful. Meera smiled at their expressions.

"Oh, Miss Nuba, you live here. Impressive, not only do you act like a princess, but you were born a princess." Aarab thought to himself.

"So now let's go inside! Rion opened the main gate and told them to go in. Just as Aarab was about to step inside the gate, Rem called out to Aarab.

"Young Master, pardon me. You must return home now. President's order, let's go please."

"Damn, that old man. Rion, you'll give this flower bouquet to Miss Nuba and wish her recovery. I have to go on an urgent errand. I can't go with you today."

Aarab singh a for not to make it today. The flower bouquet handed over to Rion's hand Aarab went there with Rem. Meera was very happy that Aarab had come with them, but Meera felt a little sad that Aarab had left. Then everybody went to Nuba's house.

"May we come in?" 

Every girl asked my permission to get in her room. I was shocked to see them. "Why are you all here? I'm making trouble for you." I asked with a sad face.

"No, dear we came here to pay a visit to you. Here, take it. It's a small gift for you from all of us." Enma replied to my question and gave me the flower bouquet that they brought for me. "Thank you so much. I appreciate it."

I took the flower bouquet from Enma and thanked her. Meera hugged me tightly.

"I missed you today." Meera said she missed me today because she couldn't see me in the classroom.

"I missed you too." I expressed to her what I felt.
