Jonie is awake

When Hosea saw what had made Jonie to feel sick that instant, she flinched in shock and Layla tapped her on the back. Asking her what the problem was.

  "He is seeing what he does not suppose to see at this time..I can feel his fear. Is very strong and is trying to overcome him.". Hosea said, breathing heartlessly, she disappeared with him to where Samantha was. There Layla and Dela followed them up.

  "What is the problem?" Samantha said and stood on her feet.

  "Jonie, Jonie. he is seeing the future, and is a terrible scene for him. He couldn't control how horrible the future looks like and he fell from the sky". Dela explained as Samantha look at him with surprise.

  "What!..the future? Who went there?". She asked question after question.

"He went there this afternoon ". Layla answered. But Hosea was still hugging Jonie, taking some of his fears away.

  "Why did he go there? To do what?". Samantha asked with her eyes wide opened.

  "Well, his father came to our school today and we didn't want him to see Jonie so I told him to go somewhere". Layla said.

  "And he went to the future when there is a lot of lovable things in the past?". Samantha asked and looked around.

  " He said he can't go back to the past and only he knew why". Layla said.

  "But what would his father be doing in your school at that time?". This time around, she asked herself.

  " Okay, guys send him home.. Hosea would be able to heal him..I need to know why king Drake was in your school today ". She said and vanished.

  " Let's go". Dela said and they all disappeared instantly. They appeared in his room. Hosea placed him slowly on the bed and told the rest to go outside she would like to be with Jonie alone.

  They obeyed and went out.

  Aunt Maggie was pacing back and forth in the living room.

  " How are you guys doing? How is Jonie?". She asked and they gasped.

  " How did you know about Jonie?". Dela asked and Aunt Maggie gave him a sluggish look.

  " Why are you asking me that question? Since he lives here whatever he does or what happened to him I see it". She said and Dela held her hands and then made her sat down on the couch.

  "Auntie, relax he would be fine. Hosea is with him so just trust her". Dela said and Layla smiled.

  "Yes, Aunt. Hosea got that". She said and Auntie sighed.

  "If you say so, then let go and have something to eat". She said and stood up to go but Dela stopped her.

"Aunt, we are okay ". He said and went away.

Aunt Maggie looked at Layla who also shook her head and went away.

  "hmm..it shall be well kids ". She said and went to her room.

Jonie was gaining his sight bit by bit. He completely opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Hosea, sleeping beside him on the edge of the bed. He held his head in pain and adjusted himself well on the bed. As he sat there, he watched Hosea sleeping till Layla appeared in front of him.

  "You are awake!". She yelled. Jonie looked at her and smiled then back to Hosea who was out of their hearing.

  "So, what made you fell off like that?". She asked as she folded her hands.

  "I just remembered the future and..". He said thinking that the future would come and beat in his head again but nothing like that happened.

  "Layla I can't remember it again!". He exclaimed and Hosea woke up.

  " Hey, sorry I woke you up". He said with his apologist face.

  " Is nothing, are you okay now?". She asked.

" Ooh, I'm good". He answered and looked at Layla, using his eyes to tell her to leave them but she stood still and folded her hands well, then leaned on the wall as well. Jonie cursed under his breath and she smiled.

  "Hosea I will go tell Aunt Maggie about it". She said and walked out through the door. Jonie sighed in relief and then turned all his attention on Hosea who was busily glancing at the ceiling above them.

  " Thanks". Jonie broke the silence.

" For what?". Hosea said, bluffing about the whole issue.

  " For saving me". Jonie said.

" I just did what any other person like me would do". She said and smiled.

" Yeah, but you took my fears away..how possible?". He asked and looked at her with his eyes widened.

" Stop looking at me like that, is scaring". Hosea said and bent her head.

  " I just wanna know how you did it". Jonie said and Hosea raised her head.

  " Why not go to the past and see for yourself?". Hosea asked and Jonie shook his head.

" No, I want you to tell me". He insisted on letting her tell him how she took his fears away.

  Hosea nodded her head and told him how she did it. She broke through his fears and pushed him away from them, which is she also went to the future and saw all that was happening. Then when she saw Jonie hiding behind a tree and shivering all around him, she quickly used her telekinetic to push him away back to the present where they were in the afternoon.

  "Wow, you are incredible". Jonie complimented.

"Thanks, but I couldn't do that if you weren't here..I mean I don't have the ability to go in the future". She blushed, Jonie saw her blushing and smirked. (If common thanks would make you blush, then I'm going to make your cheeks purplish red). He said and smile charmingly. The smile made Hosea got what he was about to do and she stood up.

"I'm..I will like to visit the washroom". She said and Jonie gave her the 'Are- you- sure -look'. She nodded her head and went out. She closed the door and lean against it while she touched her beating heart. (Why am I feeling like that towards a guy I just met two weeks?). Hosea asked herself but to know one in particular.

  "Because is call love affection". Layla said and suck her teeth then moved closer to her sister.

"Hosea, don't think too much about that fool okay". She said and Hosea slapped her hands.

  "Ouch! Sis you just beat me because of that troublesome boy?". Layla said and Hosea rolled her eyes.

  "Are you insane? Have I ever insulted your Dela before? Why are you insulting mine?". She asked her question after question.

  "Relax I didn't beat him?". Layla said and looked away.

  "Then, stop insulting him".  She said and Layla burst into laughter.

  "Hahaha..are you in love with him?". She asked and Hosea's heart skipped a beat.

  "What a heck!..let me come".  She said and pushed her away and went downstairs.

  "Hmm.. Jonie you are lucky". Layla said and smiled.

"So, who was that guy". Dela asked Jonie who was still on the bed.

  "Which guy?". He asked.

"He is Drake, king of the underworld". Layla entered and said.

"You, mean the devil?". Dela asked.

"You can call him that". Jonie shrugged and looked down. He kept quiet.

"But, what does he want from me? Why was he looking at me like that?". Dela asked.

"That's...we are trying to find out. Don't worry we are here for you". Layla assured him and he smiled.

"Hmm..I will try and find out myself. I need to stop him before he does anything stupid, besides he is my father ". Jonie said and Dela gasped.

  "Are you the.. devil son?". Dela asked bluffing not to know about it.

  "Are you insane? Don't you know already?'. Layla kicked him on the leg and he whined in pain, Jonie smiled.

  "I.. just..I wanted to tease him small". He said still holding his leg in pain.

  "Then you better not play that game with him".

She said and hissed.

Jonie looked at them fighting and it was adorable. He admired them and looked through the windows, staring at the beautiful city. Hosea interrupted his view with her flagrance body splash. He turned his head and looked at her then smiled his charming smile again.

  ( Why is he looking at me with his devilish smile again...truly you are the devil's son). she thought while looking around her like she was standing in front of her father.

  "Hosea, why are you standing there come here". Dela said and she walked closer to them.

  "Okay, I and Dela will go and see why Aunt Maggie is still not coming". Layla said and stepped on his feet, telling him to let them go out.

  "Mmm". Dela whined in pain but he suppressed it and moved away with Layla who dragged him like the morning dew, weightless like a mosquito.

  Jonie looked at them and smirked.

"So, you came back". He said and Hosea looked at him.

  "Yeah". She answered and looked away.

"Hey, if you don't mind can we have some ice cream this evening?". Jonie asked and Hosea smiled.

  "Why, not". She said and helped him get out of bed and stood on his feet.

  "Are you okay now?". Hosea asked supporting him, not to fall down.

  "I can stand on my own, I'm okay". He said and stood on his feet well.

  "Okay, I will go get dressed so you too go do the same". Jonie said and Hosea smiled before pushing the door and went out.

"Are you two going somewhere?". Aunt Maggie asked them when they both went downstairs in their outfit dress.

  ", Yeah, I wanna have some ice cream to cool down my temper". Jonie said and Aunt Maggie looked at them and smiled.

"Hmm.. okay oo..you can go but come home early okay". She said and went to the kitchen.

  "How about we go with..". Dela's word was interrupted by a slap on his leg.

  "Oh, sorry that was a mosquito ". Layla said and gave him a warning sign which kept Dela quiet.

  "You guys can go but remember to buy us something okay ". Layla said and they went out while laughing at Dela.

  "Why did you slap my leg? I no it wasn't any mosquito for there are zero of them here". he said.

"That is because you like interfering in people's love moment.. can't you let them be for once?  Besides they will all be married in the future and have a family for themself, so let them be". Layla said and looked away.

  "Oh, is that why they are soo close nowadays?". Dela asked and she facepalmed.

  "Why are you being childish? The Dela I know wasn't like this". Layla stood up to leave but Dela held her hands and made her drop back into the couch then he wrapped his hands around her waist and brought her closer to himself. They were too close that Layla could hear his hot breath on his neck.

  "Do you want me to be this bad?". He whispered into her ears and Layla flinched.

Hosea and Jonie got to the main road and stood there to board a car.

"So, do you offten boad car here!" Jonie asked.

"well I have my own apartment somewhere. Is not far from here". she said and Jonie smiled.

"okay.. that is cool.. and how do you take care of Dela in the night?". Jonie asked.

"I sometimes creat a forcefield arounding him". Hosea explained and a car stopped in front of them which they board it to the place they were going.
