What happened here?

Alexander tried to tell the person hitting his head to stop, but his tongue was dry, like a fat piece of sandpaper in his mouth. He managed to pry open his eyes and blinked against the sunlight filtering in through the window, and that was when he realized no one was hitting his head. It was just an insane kind of headache.

He groaned and closed his eyes back. He reached for the bottle of water he normally kept on his bedside table, but a few things clattered to the ground. Deciding he would handle the things later, he kept using his hand to feel his way on the table but felt nothing. He frowned, that was strange, he never forgot to keep it there.

He opened his eyes again, and this time, he noticed his surroundings. The curtains were not the white ones of his, but a pale, sickly yellow. The bed, the room, everything, was different.

It clicked at once. He hadn't gone home from the party.

A hand came upon his chest, and he shook a little. He looked to his side and snuggled next to him with bare shoulders was Cupcake. He looked down at himself and saw his torso was also bare.

He shot out of the bed, the headache slicing his head. No, no, no, what had he done!?

Cupcake opened one eye and smiled at him.

"Hey handsome," she stretched like a Cheshire cat.

"What happened here?" Alexander asked, his heart beating wild.

Cupcake smiled and propped her head up with one hand. She pulled the duvet over her body, and Alexander hoped to God she was wearing clothes and that what he feared hadn't happened.

"So you don't remember?" She asked, laughing. "I'm surprised."

"What did you do to me?" Alexander approached her. The vein in his temple throbbed violently.

"Relax, from what I remember, it was two of us involved." Cupcake frowned. "I initiated, you followed. What's all the ruckus about? We both had a great time."

Alexander moved away from her. His anger was coming in waves, but he forced himself to remember what had happened the night before. Jeffery had come to pick him up, they came here, Cupcake approached them both, Olly gave him a drink…

Alexander stopped pacing. The drink. Olly. The dizziness.

"Alex?" Cupcake called. "Why don't you just cancel the rest of the day and come spend it right next to me?" She patted the space he had just vacated. "Promise to make it worth your time."

"Where's Olly?" Alexander asked.

"I don't know," Cupcake looked tired. "Somewhere around the house. Alex baby," she purred. "Just come…"

But Alex was marching out of the room. He flung open the door, almost breaking it off its hinges. The house didn't hold much signs of a party, except for a few people sleeping on makeshift beds on the ground and on the couches. Alexander searched for Olly's face among the sea of sleeping people but didn't find him.

He continued his search around the house. He opened toilets, and rooms until he finally found himself in the kitchen. He heard whistling before he stepped in, and there, Olly was standing at the counter, mixing some white powder which was definitely a stimulant with some drinks.

His face brightened when he saw Alexander. "Hey! Look who's up! How did you like my monster shake? I'm sure Cupcake…"

The rest of his words were choked as Alexander grabbed a fistful of his shirt and hoisted him up.

"What did you give me to drink?" Alexander asked through gritted teeth.

"Woah, relax mate!" Olly looked frightened. He tried to pry Alexander's hands off, but the anger in Alexander had already made his hands steel.

"What did you give me to drink?" Alexander repeated.

"It's totally harmless!" Olly unsuccessfully tried to wrestle himself out of his hold. "It's just to make you have fun is all."

Alexander tossed Olly backward, and he crashed into some drinks behind him, the liquid pooling on the ground.

"Shit! Look at what you've done!" Olly said, trying to salvage what he could among the bottles.

"Where's Jeff?" Alexander asked.

"Gone, ass…" Olly retracted his words when he saw Alexander's face. "He's gone. Left you with Cupcake when he saw you two got busy after leaving the party."

Alexander ran his hand through his hair. This cannot be happening to him. He couldn't believe he had been convinced to spend some "brotherly" time with Jeffery when both their ideas of fun were on different waves of parallel planes.

If he had a hand to do it this…Alexander was going to deal with his brother later.

He marched back to the room without another word. The more seconds he spent in that place, the more it sickened him.

When he entered the room, Cupcake was on her feet, and she was wearing a short nightgown.

"I knew you'd come back," she said as she catwalked to Alexander. "I think you and I have got some unfinished…"

Alexander grabbed her hand before her fingers came in contact with his face.

"Listen, as far as I know, nothing happened," Alexander said. "Nothing whatsoever. Okay?"

Cupcake yanked her hand out of his grasp. "What's with the pretence?, You were here with me all night."

"And I don't have any idea what happened," Alexander's head throbbed as he yelled. He found his polo shirt by the window sill and grabbed it, wearing it at once. He found his car keys and phone on the floor, and his shoes were by the door.

"So you're just going to leave?" Cupcake was pissed. "After everything you said last night?"

"I said I don't remember," Alexander reached for the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a few hundred notes. "This will do."

Cupcake looked at the cash but didn't collect it. "What's this?" She looked up at him. "Do you think I'm a hooker?"

"I'm paying you for your troubles," Alexander said.

"Oh, wow," she scoffed and moved away from him. "Jeff is going to hear of this. Can't have you insulting me that way."
