The Royal Invitation

Aurora sat there staring outside the window like she was lost in thought. She couldn't believe that all of this really was happening, it all felt like a dream, a dream where she didn't have control over whatever happens in her life.

Nanny Susan must have noticed the look on her face "you seem really troubled, your highness"

Aurora's expression brightened up a little as she turns to face Nanny Susan "Do I have to get married this soon, nanny su?"

Aurora saw the quick change in Nanny susan's expression as she hesitated a little before she spoke.

"Your highness, the union between you and the Alpha warrior is something that cannot be stopped if peace must reign in both villages"

"I know, but I'm just scared, he's an alpha, a wolf and not human, I wouldn't feel safe with him" Aurora said with a look that says she knew there was no other options.

Nanny Susan stood there for a while staring at the mirror with a blank expression on her face as she braided Aurora's hair.

"The Alpha should be here any moment from now"

Aurora just nodded allowing Nanny Susan to continue braiding her hair.

She had never felt this helpless and scared in her entire life. She felt like she was trapped in a dream where she didn't have a say about anything, like she was trapped in a nightmare. She wished she would just wake up and see Nanny Su smiling at her bedside and telling her it was all a bad dream.

She had heard rumors about the werewolves In Snowdon, real bad rumors. She had heard that they feast on humans and some other scary rumors.

She took one more glance outside the window, she saw the carriages approaching from afar, she could hear sound of horses.
