Questions Continued

The major became alert on hearing the meaningless words that were obviously a secret code. His mind automatically started working on the code. He had been a great code breaker during his active service in the military spy wing.

"Are you talking about the famous Goshpada Kshetram in Kovvuru of Andhra Pradesh?" he asked softly. Varsha and Arjun turned towards him with piercing eyes. He shrugged casually. "You have alreay revealed a lot. Besides, I have no use for treasures." Arjun and Varsha exchanged looks.

"Are you a code breaker by any chance?"

"How did you guess?"

"It was the obvious conclusion."

“Why don’t you tell me before I tell it to you?” there was a casual confidence in the major’s tone that left no doubt about his ability as a code breaker. Arjun sighed in resignation.

“What do you want to know?”

“Is the code meant to protect a treasure?”

“Yes.”

“Ancestral?”

“Yes.”
