Chapter 32 - Hiding and helping her.

Jason - 

I manage to find a scrap of paper and a pen and write her a note just in case she wakes up before I finish my patrol and come back.

You are safe here, please stay and await my return, use anything you can find, I will bring food, clothes and some medical supplies as soon as I can.

I don't know what else to write so I leave it at that and return to my post with Daisy. As the night wears on Daisy's worry over the situation turns to excitement. She is like a kid in a candy store, bouncing up and down, making plans like the girl is her best friend.

Suddenly after non-stop chattering for over an hour she turns to me and says, "Why do you think you are drawn to her? Could she be your Mate?" 

I shake my head, "No, she isn't, there were no sparks, I can't explain it, and I've been thinking it through in my mind all night, but I am drawn to her, I feel protective of her. Like she is mine to protect."
