15 Did You Poison The Food?

Gu Qingqing's lips were opened slightly and she closed it again before she could say a word. After thinking about it for a while, she lifted her hand and knocked on the door to call Leng Sicheng to go downstairs to eat his breakfast.

Before she could land her hand on the door, the door was opened all of a sudden. Leng Sicheng with an ice-cold face appeared in front of her. Gu Qingqing's hand was still hanging in the air. "Madam is the one that cooked this pot of soup."

Gu Qingqing became really nervous when she heard what the maid said. Before serving all the dishes on the table, Gu Qingqing had made sure to taste of them. They actually tasted pretty delicious. Gu Qingqing then glanced at Leng Sicheng, he did now show any reaction. He delivered a couple of spoonful of soup into his mouth. After that, he put down the spoon nonchalantly.

Suddenly, Gu Qingqing became really nervous. After all, this was her very first time cooking for Leng Sicheng. She thought Leng Sicheng was going to walk away from her. To her surprise, he picked up the chopsticks and had a taste of the other dishes on the table.

Finally, she could relax. Seconds later, she noticed that Leng Sicheng put down the chopsticks and stared right at her.

Could it be he was about to scold Gu Qingqing?

"Did you poison the food?"

Gu Qingqing shook her head immediately.

"Why are you not eating?"

She nodded her head, took a spoonful hot porridge, and put it in her mouth. She was close to choking herself. Immediately, she lowered her head and covered her mouth. It was rare that he did not mock or criticize her. When the sunlight shone on him, she noticed that the ruthless aura that he had was almost all gone.

After eating the entire bowl of porridge, he put down the spoon, and wiped his mouth with the napkin on the table. It was at that time that Secretary Chen rushed to him with the breakfast that he bought in his hand.
