"You can't expect me to marry a man I've never even met that's ridiculous!"

"His father says he's a very nice and and he's perfect for you. Tall, smart, handsome. Every girl's dream. You should be happy he wants to marry you. There are plenty of other girls who would love to take your place"

"Then get them to marry him instead because I'm not interested"

"Lia this isn't up for discussion okay"

"Dad you can't do this!" Why does he think it's okay to marry me off to a total stranger?

"It's already been done Lia. Tomorrow you will meet him and you'll get to know each other" he said

"I'm not going and you can't make me"

"Amelia! You are going to do this and you are going to like it!" My dad isn't a big yeller so whenever he does it's just better not to argue with him

"I'm the head of this family so what I say, goes"

"This is so unfair dad please"

"Amelia that's enough!" He looked at me with rage. I knew I wasn't going to win this

"I hate you" is all I said as I ran back to my room and slammed the door shut. Do I think I went to far saying that. Maybe a little but I couldn't help it. I have a temper just like my dad. It's why we're so alike. But he couldn't just do this. It was my life he was taking away. My chance at love. 'perfect guy' he says. He could be a serial killer for all we know. And my mom just stood there. She didn't say a word. Not even trying to defend me. I guess money's more important than thier daughter's happiness. There was a knock on my door. I didn't have the strength to talk to anyone.

"Go away" I said . But the person just walked in. Thank goodness it was Harley

"Hey sis. I heard what happened. Hard not to really. Are you okay?" I just looked at her and sprung up wrapping my arms around her. Out of all my siblings Harley and I have been the closest. Being the only girls and all. We always talked about everything. So I was happy she walked through the door

"Tell me everything"she said with a serious look
