chapter 11: I don't like her

"My questions goes to Olivia." said Cece, staring at Olivia contemptuously. "If you're asked to pick a guy between Henry and Fred, who'll you pick?" asked Cece smiling deceptively at Olivia

"What about Ben?" said Olivia suspiciously at Cece's question. "Is he not a guy?" asked Olivia bewildered, she returned the stare back to Cece and thought of what her plans was

"Oh please, answer the question." said Cece irritated

"I don't like Fred and I don't like him neither." said Olivia pointed at the two guys, Fred and Henry. Ben laughed uncontrollably while Anita was amazed with Olivia's response to Cecilia contemptuously act

"What?" surprised Cece unsatisfied

"Yes, you heard me right!" said Olivia indifferently

"What's wrong with Henry, he's a cool guy. I can vouch for him." said Ben grinning at Olivia "Neither will I ask you to pick my brother." added Ben again he smirked at Fred clearly.

"Whoa! Sorry bro!" chuckled Anita.

"Olivia's lying, i know she'll pick Fred. You are just pretending." said Cece angrily at Olivia, choice of selection

"Really! What so special about Fred. He's just an handsome guy with no manners. I can only manage Henry, since I don't really know him." said Olivia, she burst out and Henry was chuckled.

"Whoa I'm not that bad. Thanks Olivia!" said Henry giggled

"Uhmn!" said Cece unsatisfied with Olivia's replied.

"Yes Cecilia!" said Olivia gently. Fred was surprised at Olivia outburst, he thought of her being weird or naive. She's a local girl that came from poor background

"I know you like Fred, just stop the pretence of you badmouthing him." declared Cece defensively.

"What's your problem Cecilia, I know you like Fred and you think everyone else will like him too?" said Olivia sarcastically.

Cece was taken back for a moment and everyone was shocked at the truth

"It's alright Olivia. I know you don't like my brother, and he doesn't likes you too." agreed Anita softly. "I think it's time to go home now guys. Mom had already called my line. Thanks for tonight guys. You are the true definition of best friends siblings." said Anita happily.

"We love you Anita and you're welcome sweetie." said Henry smiled

"You're welcome babygirl!" said Cece shortly after recovering from her shock. She pretended not to show her annoyance.

"I think I'll go ahead guys, see you next time." said Anita and she beckoned to Olivia.

"Bye guys." said Olivia smiling at Henry and also at Anita's friends before she hurriedly went out with Anita.

"What's wrong with her." said Cece angrily.

"Ignore her dear, she's just a novice." said Fred indifferently

"Novice my foot!" said Cece irritated.

"I know she likes me, she's just pretending." agreed Fred smiling. Fred was too proud to admit Olivia doesn't like her. He believes all girls like him for his looks and money

"I know too right." said Cece chuckled.

"She doesn't like you Fred. She's the first girl, that i will see that'd behaved in front of you that way." admitted Henry

"I don't like her!" said Fred annoyed

"She doesn't like you neither." said Ben agreed with Henry

"I don't like her too, she's not my type." said Fred

"Uhmn, I see." said Ben

"She likes Fred, she is just pretending. Don't let her deceive you Ben." said Cece

"She doesn't." said Ben supporting Olivia

"Okay guys, stop the argument!" said Henry suddenly. "I have a plan and the things is let's play a game and see if she likes Fred or not." said Henry cunningly

"Okay, what's the deal?" asked Fred.

"Since you guys are arguing. Let's just play this game, probably she might fall for you or not." said Henry suggesting.

"Okay." both Ben and Fred chorused. "I will give you one month Fred. And if the month expire without you winning her heart. You will give your brother the wrist watch, you're wearing now. Agreed?" said Henry pointing directly at Fred wrist watch.

"I love that." said Ben smiling happily.

Ben knew his brother love the wrist watch her mother got for him on his last year birthday party. He knew the wrist watch was a golden wrist watch and he never allowed Ben to borrowed it. Ben knew his brother was self centered when it got to his personal belongings. He never use his personal thing to play. Another problem is that Fred never back of  from a game. He loved to win the opponent rather than giving up.

"Okay fine." said Fred finally agreed to Henry's deal.

"I know Fred will win!" said Cece defensively.

"That's my girl." said Fred pleased. He hugged Cece and both went outside.

The fourth day which was the following day, Olivia was in the kitchen preparing sandwich cake and Fred entered all of a unexpectedly.

"Good morning!" announced Fred from the kitchen door. Olivia was startled and she quickly turned around.

"You startled me," she said holding her breath and looked confused at him.

"Oh, am sorry." he said and moved towards her.

"It's okay, and what do you want?" she asked immediately staring at him bewildered.

"I came to assist you with the cooking." said Fred smiling.

"What... did I heard him right?" said Olivia thought to herself inwardly and was astonished.

"Assist me?" she asked him again shocked

"Yes," replied Fred, and he started washing the pan she had used to fried eggs.

"Did I announced to you I need assistance, and moreover this is my work." said Olivia stopping him from washing the pan.

"I know Olivia, I just wanted to help you that's all, nothing attached." he said grinning.

Olivia was speechless and was confused at his changed attitude. And Olivia finally had the courage to sent him away.

"I don't need your help and as you can see, am almost done, and can you please leave now?" she shouted suddenly and she pointed directly at the door.

"Whoa whoa I got you, I will leave." he said quickly and rinsed his hands before heading out.

At the school, Peter and Olivia was walking down to their classroom. Olivia had explained what happened last night at the birthday party to Peter

"That guy is a playboy you have to be careful with him Olivia." said Peter concerned for her.

Peter had been harboring his feeling for Olivia and he's waiting for the right time to tell her. He thought of the school year party could be the perfect time to tell her, which their wouldn't be excuses for Olivia to reject him.

"Trust me dear, he's not my type!" declared Olivia.

"Who's your type then?" he wanted to know if she had secret feelings for him too.

"Someone like you, but you're too perfect for me small head." she said grinning. And Peter was blushingly and at the same time. He was happy to heard that from her.

"There's no need to rush, she's definitely mine!" he thought to himself and smiled inwardly

Olivia tapped him and said."What are you thinking about, see the teacher is coming!" both rushed inside the classroom.
