bei ruolan frowned. "what's yours is mine. its just a cake, why are you so petty?"

"its just a kiss, why are you so petty?" rong longwei reversed her words. he crossed his arms, enjoying her scrunched expression.

bei ruolan pouted. she looked around and called out, "uncle butler?"

butler yuan appeared and bowed down. "yes, madam?"

"is there any cheesecake left?" bei ruolan pointed at the cake on rong longwei plate and asked.

butler yuan looked at the cake and pursed his lips. "Its placed in young master's study room"

bei ruolan turned and saw her husband's mischievous smile.

"just give me a kiss and I will buy you the whole store" his smile widened.

"Hmph! Petty!" bei ruolan kicked his leg under the table.

rong longwei's legs caught her leg and trapped it in between.

butler yuan glanced at the war under the table and hid his smile.

because the couple sat beside each other, rong longwei easily pulled her chair towards him using his leg. he pulled her to his lap and trapped her in his arms.

"Just a kiss, en?" rong longweo used his seductive tone and blew on her ear.

bei ruolan shivered. she covered her ear and want to elbow him but was caught by him.

"let me go!" her legs was kicking air.

"Hm? wife, you sure does have a lot of strength" rong longwei eyes darkened. he scooted his chair away and swiftly changed the position. he was standing while she was sitting.

bei ruolan position right now was on his chair. both of her hands was held by him on the head of the chair and she was like a skillful shooter that run out of bullets and was caught by his opponent.

"for god sake! I don't want the cake anymore and let me go!" bei ruolan screamed on top of her lungs.

her voice echoed in the mansion and the servants started to peeked on their direction. they saw their yiung master trapped their madam with a smiling face.

rong longwei leaned over. "You don't want the cake? but I still want the kiss"

bei ruolan gritted her teeth. she glared at him angrily, "Rong longwei, you are a gangster!"

rong longwei chuckled. he met her rose petal like lips and started devouring her. he let go of her hands and hold the back of her head while the other hand hold her back.

bei ruolan eyes widened. her hands was punching and slapping his chest.

the kiss last for several minutes when bei ruolan bit his lips. the metallic scent started to spread in their mouths.

rong longwei let go of her and smirked. he stood still and wiped the blood using his thumb. "Mm, wife. you are so sweet. thank you for the kiss" he patted her head and walked to the living room.

bei ruolan lips also get bitten by him on the end of the kiss. she wiped the blood away angrily and stood up. her eyes met with the servants' and butler yuan gazes. she shifted her eyes and stomped her feet to the living room

"eh? longwei, what happened to your lips?" fu nianzu frowned. she and her husband came over to see their daughter-in-law.

rong longwei saw his wife coming and smirked. "a little squirrel bit me" he caressed his lips using his thumb.

rong mingyu and fu nianzu looked at each other, processing their eldest's son words. little squirrel? where even the squirrel come from?

"You freaking bastar-" bei ruolan was still wiping the blood and was about to curse him when she saw her in laws.

rong mingyu and fu nianzu saw her swollen lips and the blood and looked back to their son. they finally understood the situation.

rong longwei smirked to his wife. "Hm? wife, you're saying?"

"never mind. I was just telling you to not forget to miss me" bei ruooan change her angry attitude to a gentle wife like one. she smiled sweetly but behind her smile was curses to rong longwei.

rong longweo hid his laugh and played along. "how could I not miss my own wife. take care at home and don't steal my cheesecakes when I'm gone"

bei ruolan gritted her teeth. "Haha, you are so funny. let me help you with your tie" she walked over and adjusted his tie. she forcefully made it tight on his neck.

rong longwei coughed when the tie almost strangle him. his arms hugged her waist and secretly pinched it.

"Are you sick? do you need to rest?" bei ruolan slapped his hand that was pinching her and put on a 'I'm worried for you' look.

fu nianzu and rong mingyu watched the two couple secretly attacking each other. they stared at each other and was relieved.

"I will get going" rong longwei looked at his wife. he patted her head and nodded to his parents.

bei ruolan give a peck on his cheek while rong longwei give a quick kiss on her lips.

"take care" bei ruolan waved her hands.

"Go ahead and eat the cheesecakes. I bought it for you" rong longwei smiled on her before slipping to the driver seat and drove to the company.

bei ruolan chuckled at his words. she closed the door and finally realize that there are two elders behind her.

"mom, dad, have you eaten breakfast?" bei ruolan was relieved that the servanrs have cleared the dining table and brought her in laws to the living room.

fu nianzu sat down beside her and hold her hands. "we have. we came because we're worried about you"

bei ruolan felt warm. she always thought fu nianzu as her own mother. "I'm fine. you shouldn't come over here. I heard you have been coughing lately so I have something for you" she looked at butler yuan, "uncle butler, bring me the herb teas in the cabinet"

butler yuan went to the cabinet and took out an oriental style bag. he give ut to bei ruolan before dismissing himself.

"This is the herb teas that I have been drinking eversine I was a kid. its good to relieve sore throats and ither sickness" bei ruolan give it to fu nianzu.

"oh my, isn't this personally brewed herb teas sachets?" fu nianzu exclaimed when she glanced at the inside.

bei ruolan nodded. "I brewed it myself when I'm bored and placed it in sachets in the same size"

rong mingyu finally remembered that bei zhuang have told him that in the family, only bei ruolan loves to drink herb teas and always brewed it herself. she'd never ask any one to brew it and even bei zhuang said that bei ruolan was a master in herbs.

"Xiao ruo, your body is fragile, you don't have to brew this" although he didn't know anything about brewing, he knew that brewing tea takes a lot of strength and time especially herb teas.

"its alright dad. I also gave longwei a cup of herb tea every night to soothe his body from working all day" bei ruolan said.

fu nianzu and rong mingyu once again felt grateful of this daughter-in-law. not only she cares for their eldest son and take care of his well beings, she also cared for other people when she herself need to be taken care of.

"if you said so, just lessen doing this. we will be leaving now so take care of yourself" fu nianzu stood up and took the bag.

bei ruolan sent them out and closed the door after the car was out of her sight.

"madam, do you want to take a sleep?" butler yuan asked when he saw her tired face.

"Yes. my body was still weak and I'm still dazed. don't disturb me if its nothing important" bei ruolan dismissed everyone and entered the master bedroom.
