Their struggles are our struggles too
Alex will definitely have problems defeating this Firo, whoever he is, Kat thought to herself while working on her paper work for her company. Tali and the team are working together to hit their deadlines and finish the supposedly projects that Kat is the only person who can personally accomplish, but couldn't because she is needed in the REVO group as Alex's guide, support and companion. She felt lonely being alone like this.
She knows Alex is just nearby training and learning the ways of being an invincible leader. But it is something Kat is feeling sorry about now that REVO has Alex's full attention, time and even love. It's been a week since she made love to me and I miss her so much, Kat thought teary eyed. Ahh, but she is doing this for a cause and that is more important than my petty sexual needs. But I'm her wife and I think my needs are important than her responsibilities as a leader. She also has a responsibility to me as her partner in life, Kat's mind kept on repeating the same exact phrase of Alex's responsibility to her as her partner in life. While pondering about it, Kat heard a knock and her thoughts that were currently wandering went back to earth and suddenly as if she woke up from a day dream hearing someone is at the door.
Kat stood up from her seat where her laptop was on top of her work desk in their bedroom. Walked slowly to the main door of the unit and opened it. She found a long box and there's a note on it too. She looked from side to side but there's no one around. Kat was curious and excited on who sent gift. When she unboxed the gift, she found a dozen of fresh red roses. The gift was from Alex and the note said:, I miss you babe. I know I have been on training for weeks now and I anticipate the time I'll be cuddling with you tonight. I'll see you later honey. I love you!
Awwe, Kat's heart wanted to leap out of her chest and she wanted to burst in tears with love, missing Alex more than ever before she made those comments and phrases about her responsibility as my partner in life, blah, blah!. She remembered and she loves me, Kat thought happily. Her mind is now off into oblivion, wishing that Alex is here with her now and touching or making love with her. How I wish, aaahhhhhh!!!, the childish needy part of me is revolting from the anticipation. The long wait is over and my love will be with me in no time soon.
Alex zapped a sort of fire power from her hands then water which she could control now with such ease. Unlike before that she will always be washed away by the ocean waves or be swept or slammed by the water currents and it's as funny as hell when Becca was watching to see Alex's progress in training. She could barely stand in the water and the surf board for that matter.
Anyway, Alex now can control the waves and even the water currents however huge it is. She can even create and control a tsunami or tornado in the a large body of water when she needs to and it's be just a piece of cake on her part. Becca and the scientific gurus of REVO group had made Alex's suit strong it is bullet and anti-radiation proofed. Cool and awesome!, Alex said while using it for several tests on the sea and ocean beds. REVO have several submarines to help her out in her trainings. And being submerged under water was not an ideal thing for Alex since she's scared of the water and heights. Well, now that she is the REVO leader she doesn't have a choice but learn to love water, air and the sky.
She almost forgot her promise with Kat. Alex asked for permission to leave the training grounds and spend the night with her wife. Becca agreed and congratulated her for her success and her excellent performance in the trainings. She has a bigger chance now on defeating Firo and everyone is delighted to have helped and trained the new and future leader of REVO. Hail Alex!, Hail Alex!, everyone in the audience shouted and Alex smiled, waved and bid them goodnight.
Victory was the former leader of REVO and queen of Tunisia. Marnie was the successor but she passed away earlier than expected. She left a daughter and it is Alex who was placed in an orphanage to keep her safe. Victory disappeared for many years when her wife Liz passed on.
She would have been really old now and would not have survived due to many catastrophes and pandemics that plagued the earth then until now. Though all is well in the current world, Victory is alive but sort of popped out from somewhere. Before when they worked on a time machine, it was just like time warp that the ship would just go inside a liquid like or mercury type of hole. Now, it's not so. A person can just appear out of nowhere and disappear in an instant like being sucked by in the air and pop. Magical, maybe, scientific, yes. We live in a world where quantum physics and dimensional worlds exist. We just don't know how to tap other worlds or dimensions. But others, even in the olden days have already tapped the distinct and impossible world of illusion which is true and not just a fantasy.
Alex walked towards their unit when she heard a commotion o the other end of the hallway. It's a bit dark here and she can't see a thing but just shadows and hear faint voices of some sort. Alex tip toed to the end of the hall and checked it out. When a stranger appeared kicking her on the tummy and knocking her off off guarded. She stood and positioned to defend herself and when the mysterious shirt covered from face to foot guy punched her, she blocked it with her arm and slid her knee to hit him on the mid-section then punched him by the left knuckle on the cheek that knocked him off to the ground.
When Alex is about to check the intruder out by lifting his black face mask, he popped and disappeared into the thin air with smokes like the ninja movies I watched when I was younger. Whoooo!, I didn't realize it could really happen in real life, Alex thought and sighed a breathe of relief when there's no one around this time of night. Alex went to hers and Kat's room and called Becca about the incident to check on the floors and units of the building and the outside grounds if the enemy has infiltrated our centre. Becca was alarmed with Alex and a mysterious fighter encounter earlier that she agreed to send off guards and soldiers to scout the ins and outs of the buildings and centre. Alex and Kat are now in the bed when Becca confirmed that there's no one aside from that intruder. They assured Alex that everything is under control and heightened the restrictions and guards on and off centre grounds. Alex felt safe and kissed Kat on the lips that started a wildfire of emotions to make the night hot and sexy with a steamy making of love.
Victory went disappearing when she continued their research on quantum physics and how some people can teleport from one place to another or one dimensional world to another. She thought that during sleeps we see things and experience events that when we wake up sort of like dejavu when we see or encounter the same idea, same event or the same feeling or scene of our life happen all over again. Our ancestors and smart scientists said that we live in this world but we have other worlds aside from our current. I tried experimenting on the idea of what if there is another world after death or what if what the books say purgatory is another term for cleansing world. I did it, using a potion which I believe my granddaughter Marnie already knew when she used a vaccine to inject Vicky, her wife who changed and became fully human. Vicky in our previous story was an experiment who already died but was revived to live but had certain complication such as physical defects and emotional, psychological dysfunctions. Yet, Marnie was able to find a cure and Vicky turned to a real human who has a heart and became compassionate, loving and humane.
