Indescribable

"What's the meaning of this headmaster?" Argus pointed his staff at the old man.

"Its a forbiden spell, banned by the laws of war." The Schaffer tried to reason.

"We're not in a war."

"And this is a child that won't be able to handle the consequences of using that spell."

Mind Transgression, several tiers higher than Mind Reading which forces the caster to go through the memories of a person and their thoughts. But mind attacks are always dangerous as mana fluctuations as strong as Mind Transgression has a lot of side effects.

As soon as the caster begins to look in the memories, there's a chance the one being affected will forget some of the memories the caster is looking at, being replaced with the memories of the caster.

Some die from being overflown with information of the caster, some gets permanently paralyzed and some gets their whole life gets replaced in a single second even without the caster's intention to do it.

"I'll use Mind Reading if it bothers you so much." Argus extended his hand out to Avan's head.

"Freeze." Schaffer casts and Argus' hands began to be enveloped by cold, white ice.

Argus tapped his staff twice on the ground below him and the spell vanished. "Why are you protecting this child Schaffer? I know you're not ignorant enough to not notice his power."

"That is exactly why I'm not letting you do whatever you want with him." Schaffer sighs and contemplated before responding again. "He's a reincarnator."

"Hmm!?" Argus' face was filled with surprise. "Well, that explains his power I suppose. When did he change or appear?"

"From the day he was born he appeared."

"What..? But his age looks like he lived until in his teenage years..."

"This is something that completely breaks the laws of time and space and that's why I don't want you to mess with his psyche because someday, we'll need answers from him."

"...This is, impossible. There's a law about reincarnation in this world that has never been changed nor surpassed."

"Astral Reincarnation."

Astral Reincarnation, the art of reincarnating by transferring the soul of the caster to another point in time. It creates a portal wherein the soul traverses through the infinite universes and chooses on where to reincarnate.

They begin to find their own bodies and kills the souls inside it, to possess their own body in a different reality.

But there's something that living beings can withstand. Its staying in alive in a different world longer than a year.

The mana core of a human is only fit not for one's body, but for one's soul. Each soul is etched and create like an infinite number set. And even if there was one number missing, the mana core will collapse and will kill the one that's inside.

"I don't care what you do here Schaffer. But I will read this kid's mind. I'll have to fight you if I must. If this power gets known..." Argus clenched his fists as he held his staff readying to attack Schaffer.

"I know. It'll be a means for infinite reincarnations and unlimited power. Altering countless timelines. But you don't need to worry about that." Schaffer eased up, as if motioning that he wasn't interested in fighting. He sighed, "You may look into his memories, but you can only look."

"You talk as if you already read his memories."

"I did." Schaffer immediately admitted. "At a young age he managed to break through the first tier expanding his mana pool. I was curious as to how he did it. I wanted to know how he did it so quickly at a young age. Well, what comes after is not for me to say."

Argus was taken aback as Schaffer's face suddenly turned that into of a sorrow. He was hesitant to do it, but he did it anyway. He placed his hand on top of his head, and was about to cast a spell. "..."

"Argus, you must return. No matter what."

Argus was confused, but he shook his head and focused on the matter at hand. "Mind Reading." A golden aura surrounded his body, and slowly withered away into that of a black aura.

It was silent, deathly so. He began to walk around and the feeling of Avan's head on his palm disappeared.

Dark, deep and endless.

He took one more step forward and he fell.
