Able to reduce the visibility in a radius of 10 by 10 yards. Duration of one hour.

The Smoke Bomb was able to reduce a monster's vision by 10 yards. It wasn't particularly useful against other monsters. However, it was great when facing Kobolds. Their vision was now reduced to 25 yards. As long as a mage attacked from a 30-yard distance, the Kobolds would not be able to spot them at all. They could only stand there and wait for their deaths.

"Attack" Shi Feng pointed to the Kobolds within the smoke.

Blackie was half-doubting Shi Feng's actions, but he still chose to believe in Shi Feng. His mouth started chanting a curse. A moment later, a Dark Arrow shot out, landing directly on the foremost Kobold.

The attacked Kobold looked at its surroundings. However, it did not discover any enemies. After whining for a bit, it returned to its original state. The other Kobolds also stopped paying attention to their deranged companion as they continued walking about.

"Relax. They won't attack us as long as you maintain a 30-yard distance." Shi Feng clapped Blackie's shoulders as he confidently commented.

Without any way to help damage the monsters without ruining the plan, I decided to help Shi Feng in luring more monsters. I also helped pick up the loots dropped by the kobolds.

After more than three hours of grinding, we finally completed collecting the required ores. During this time, we also managed to increase our level. Blackie reached level 2, while Shi Feng and I reached level 3.

"That was faster than I thought. We're lucky this time; they even dropped three Bronze rank equipments."

Looking at our loots, I saw three Bronze rank items; two plate armor boots as well as cloth armor. It also dropped two skill books; [Wind Blade] for swordsman, and [Parry]

"DarkNorth, take one of these boots as well as this skill book [Parry]. Meanwhile, I'll take this [Wind Blade]." Said Shi Feng

Just as we divided the loots, Shi Feng and I detected three blurry figures rushing towards Blackie.

"Blackie, dodge quickly!"

Shi Feng yelled as he pulled out his Novice Sword. With lightning speed, Shi Feng rushed over.

Blackie remained ignorant of the situation. He was still stuck being happy, unaware of the things approaching him.

"Only finding out now? You're too late. He'll be the first one."

The simultaneous attacks from the three Assassins caused a lot of damage to Blackie. Even though he wore several pieces of Common Cloth Armor, he had still lost nearly half of his HP.

System: Guild [Shadow] has attacked your party. All party members are allowed to attack members of Guild [Shadow] without penalty. Duration of 1 hour.

"I'll fight you guys."

Blackie knew he was sure to die. His speed was not comparable with an Assassin's. However, he also wanted to retaliate before he died. Blackie started chanting a curse, firing a Dark Arrow towards Quiet Wolf at zero distance.

Quiet Wolf smiled in disdain. Although the arrow was unavoidable, he still had 80 HP at Level 0. How strong could a Cursemancer's attack be? Could it possibly instant-kill him?

Hong! The Dark Arrow hit Quiet Wolf.

A damage of 76 points appeared above Quiet Wolf's head, instantly leaving him with only some leftover HP.

Quiet Wolf immediately became dumbfounded after seeing such damage; his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. The other two Assassins were equally shocked.

"Crap, let's kill him, brothers. His Staff is definitely a Mysterious-Iron Equipment," as a veteran gamer, Quiet Wolf quickly reacted, revealing his greed towards Blackie's weapon. Blackie being able to deal such a high damage was definitely due to a Mysterious-Iron Weapon. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to nearly instant-kill Quiet Wolf.

Before they reached Blackie, I charged towards them and managing to intercept the assassins. Upon reaching them, I quickly used Thunder strike.

With my attack, I managed to kill Quiet Wolf and greatly reduced the HP of the others. Additionally, because of the effects of the skill, their movement speed was greatly reduced, making it easier for us to kill them.

At this moment, Shi Feng appeared behind the assassins. Two flashes of sword strikes later, damages of -41, -50 appeared atop their heads, all of their HP dropping to 0. Moments later, their bodies turned into starlight and disappeared within an instant.

"Wow, Brother Feng, DarkNorth. The two of you are so strong." Said a dumbfounded Blackie

Everything had happened all too quickly. In his eyes, I suddenly appeared and stopped those assassins. Afterwards, Shi Feng appeared behind them swung his sword two times, easily dispatching them. All of these actions had been carried out within an instant. It was so fast that the Assassins could not even react.

We did not answer him as we noticed that we were surrounded by eight players. Noticing our expressions, Blackie also found out that something was wrong and hurriedly looked around.

Seeing their numbers, we became quite cautious. I looked at Shi Feng and asked for his opinion. Shi Feng pondered for a moment before he smirked at me. "You ready?"

Understanding his meaning, I smirked back at him and agreed. "Ready"

As we were discussing, the player leading the group shouted "Everyone go at them. You must definitely get me their Bronze Equipment and take over this mine."

The opposing party quickly rushed towards us. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the opposing party is composed of three mages, one assassin, a healer, a berserker, a swordsman and a guardian.

Shi Feng and I also rushed at them. I leaped towards the middle of the enemies and activated Thunder Strike, damaging and slowing most of them. I then confronted the guardian, their leader.

"You're dead for sure, kid. You dare to actually confront me Flaming Tiger."

"What? Don't tell me you are an arrogant young master that will rally all his loyal dogs to attack me. How cliché"

All of Flaming Tiger's hair stood up in anger upon hearing me. Afterwards, he raised his shield and swung it at me.

With one hand, he used his shield to block my vision, while he used the other to stab his short sword towards one of my vital point. It was simple, yet sinister, and it was very hard to stop.

Unfortunately, he met the wrong opponent. I easily dodged his shield and parried his sword making his hands go wide. Seeing the opening, I used Force Strike on him.

A damage of -45 appeared above Flaming Tiger's head. His HP had instantly gone from 220 to 175.

When Flaming Tiger was hit, he hurriedly spun around and used [Shield Bash]. However, I took a step backward and spun around, managing to avoid the shield. Then, I activated Charge, stunning him.

Afterwards, I slashed and hacked at him, easily claiming his life. Upon finishing my battle, I noticed that Shi Feng, with the help of Blackie, already managed to kill the majority of the opposing party. Only the swordsman as well as the berserker was left among the enemies. It seems that they prioritized killing the more dangerous ones first.

Seeing me kill their leader, the two remaining enemies panicked and tried to escape. However, their action proved useless as Shi Feng appeared and blocked their path. Now, they were cornered in between me and Shi Feng.

Seeing that they were cornered, the two of them used their secret move.

"We are from Shadow. If you kill us, all members of our guild would be mobilized to hunt the three of you."

"That's right. Our guild is the strongest one here in this town. If you dare attack us, your life will be finished."

Hearing the two of them ramble; the both of us shook our heads and decided to finish this already. We rushed at the two of them, each heading towards our targets. I headed towards the Berserker while Shi Feng rushed towards the Swordsman.

After a few moments, both of our enemies turned into starlight and disappeared.

After defeating all of our enemies, we proceeded to collect the drops left behind by the members of the Shadow. Most of the drops were common rank item. However, they dropped a bronze-rank plate armor as well as an ore called Star Crystal.

Upon discussion, it was decided that I'll receive the armor and Shi Feng will get the Star Crystal.
