Chapter 8 Timeskip And Guts Introduction

2 Years and 9 Months later

A lot of things have happened during these two years, one of them being that I master Total Concentration: Constant this took the longest but in the end I got it done and I seriously underestimated how much of a boost this gives you. If Total Concentration give me a lot of strength and speed then mastering Constant increases that by a lot, and my relationship with the Band of the Hawk is a lot better now. And there was one time when I got ahold of the crimson beherit when Griffith was injured after a battle and he was in a coma for a two days. I threw it into a forest as hard as I could, then when Griffith woke up another member of the band of the Hawk gave it back to him.This is when I began thinking, if the eclipse is fated to happen then there's nothing I can do to change that but I can alter the details a little bit one of those things is teaching Guts how to do Total Concentration this will help him in the long run. Another thing that I began to think of was the magic of this world but I would have to think about this later, seeing as we have a mission right now which is defending this Castle.

"Everyone get to your posts, and defend the castle walls!" Griffith began ordering everyone around, with that the enemy began they siege of the castle.

Three months later

The Castle can be see facing a heavy frontward siege, the enemy forces overwhelmed the castle defenses.

I saw Bazuso he killed thirty man in this battle and in doing so most of the enemy was afraid to fight him, all but one that is.

That when I saw him, Guts was walking up to face Bazuso.

"How much?" He asked the knight, to which he seems surprised.

"For what?"

"For thirty man killer."

"I'll give you five pieces of gold."

"Ten."

"Seven and that all I'll give you!"

Wasting no time Guts take his sword out and began striking Bazuso. Bazuso try to attack with his axe but all he can do is defend himself, eventually he try swing his axe at Guts but when he was doing that Guts swing his sword at his axe and broke it. Wasting no time Guts bring his sword back and they both simultaneously swinging their weapons at each other, but unfortunately Bazuso axe gets broken as he hits Guts helmets off and Guts sword cuts Bazuso torso. And without hearing Bazuso cry of mercy, Guts bring his sword down onto Bazuso head cleaving it in half down the middle.

"That was quite impressive, but we should get out of here. This Castle is done for." I said to the Band of the Hawk, as we began to leave I saw Griffith looking at Guts with eye of fascination like he wanted him. This guy can just change his personality in a instant.

Man, that mission took way to long. I said to myself as we got back into camp.

The Next Day

"Look someone coming." One of the men said as he was watching the road in the valley.

"It's the guy that killed Bazuso, and I'll bet his pockets are well-lined." Said Corkus as he looked back a Griffith.

"What do you say Griffith?" Corkus said to Griffith but he looked like he didn't care.

"Do as you wish." He said nonchalantly.

"Don't do it Corkus, you'll get yourself killed." Casca said to him.

This guy really is dumb sometimes, I thought to myself as I watch him and a couple others write down in horses to Gut. And it went exactly like expected Guts cut of them down leaving Corkus and a few other but before anything happen Griffith said something.

"Sin or Casca, go handle it."

"Why do i have, Corkus got himself in that situation." Casca said as she looked at Griffith.

"Don't worry, I'll do it." I said as I got on a horse and went down, once I was in the valley I got off my horse. Guts try to cut Corkus but I parry his sword.

"Get back Corkus." I said to him, and he did just that.

His sword has a longer reach, then my katana bit that fine, I'll just get in close. We continued to trade strike.

"Damn, this guy's tuff. He's strong and fast." Guts though as we were fighting each other.

"I'll right, let put an end to this." I said to him as I got into a stance.

"Damn, my sword got knocked away. He was strong before now have got stronger when he used that move!?" Guts said to himself as he went to get his sword back but I cut him enough to pass out form blood loss.

He's strong, if I couldn't use Constant it would have been a hard fight.

Two days later

Guts can be seen coming out form a tent with a injury wrapped in bandages, the first thing he noticed is Casca talking with Griffith, she then goes to Guts and punches him in his injury. He fall to the ground as he holds his injury, Judeau said something to him.

"By Griffith order, she have to sleep with you for two days and two night, since you were cold from losing blood." His said this to his while throwing a knife at Corkus bucket filled with water starting a little shenanigan with him.

Guts looks at me wanting to say something but Griffith goes up to him with his sword and Guts sword.

"I'm Griffith, what your name?"

"Guts."

"Would you accompany me." With that both of them went up the hill.

"Are you the Leader of the Band of the Hawk?" Guts asked him.

"Yeah."

"Then why didn't you have that guy kill me?" Guts asked Griffith.

"Because, I want you."

"Are you a homo?"

Man,this guy sense of humor is funny. I thought as I was listening.

"No, it's because we saw your battle with Bazuso in that castle and beside I think Sin didn't want to kill you."

They continue talking and Griffith wanted Guts to join, but he refused because we attacked him first, and he not wrong. So they have a fight, to see if Guts will join or not. And it went just like in the manga, it was a pretty good sword-fight. Eventually the fight died down, seeing as Griffith won and was now "his". I swear this guy's personality can change on a dime.
