"You are teaching those kids, aren't you?" Neal probed.

Gerald knew he was dead so he begged so all the children could survive.

"Please you can kill me for this, but don't kill the kids! They just want to learn!" Gerald kneeled.

He was not a battle mage, so that's the only thing he could do, and of course, he didn't dare since even if he runs he would die more painful in this desert, but if he really forced him he was going to use everything he can use.

The other kids cried in their hiding place, they can finally learn without hiding it and share it with their friends, because they can't share it too much or Gerald would be exposed.

Neal sighed 'Many people wanted to learn but only a selected one can teach people, he never thought it would be this bad, they are hiding trying to share their knowledge, people wanted to change their lives, but were forced down to become slave or labor, even though they don't want it.
